1* is about right, as both myself and my wife ordered the Day 2 antigen tests, and both of us received our UK PLF codes instantly, so that was actually rather good. Tests never arrived though, so it’s a good thing that Test & Trace and whoever runs the UK PLF tracing are doing a worse job than these guys, else we’d be in trouble.

The test result came back as "Unclear". This is ridiculous, I am traveling often to Germany, done many tests and never had "Unclear" before. I will never buy again with Rainbow Labs.

SCAM!!! SCAM!! Ordered a couple of tests for Day2 and all came out as "Unclear". We had already done numerous tests with many providers in the past and many were self swab like this one, all the results came correctly. We are quite experienced in self swabbing like most of us by now and wonder if they are really doing the lab tests and blindly coming out as "Unclear" to buy more tests from them...Avoid at any cost.

Paid for 6 tests on 30th of Nov, contacted them as never received nor any documentation from Royal Mail. They claim RM tried to deliver on the 2nd of Dec which is just not true no note, no email, no text to say delivery attempted. I had to purchase more tests to travel on the 28th of Dec over 26 days since they claimed they sent but never got them. Asked for refund, no was the answer, disgusting man on the phone wouldn’t listen to me. I agreed to have tests resent and guess what??? now want to charge me a reshipping fee of £23 WTAF this is not legal. Reporting to ombudsman.

This has been the most upsetting experience and incompetent company we have dealt with for testing. Avoid at all costs! To list what our experience; Test kits are not sent out on time. Some are missing. Tests don’t arrive back at lab as promised. One test was never given the result. Two tests came back inconclusive which by other firms is pronounced as very rare occurrence. The timings for returning test results is not adhered to. Email response was lacking and call centre does not have adequate response to issues. This company should not have been recommended by Which. I’m shocked at the utter disrespect, lack of procedure and ability to carry out what they charge a lot of money for. This is a total scam and this company should be shut down before more people hand over their money. I will be reporting this company to the relevant authorities and the ombudsman. I’m sure there are thousands of very angry customers out there. Avoid avoid avoid!

Awful... they let me down and ruined my Christmas by closing their labs over Christmas without telling me. I had to pay for another test and I am still waiting for a refund.

My partner and I were overseas for Christmas to spend time with family, after being unable to see them for over a year and a half. We'd ordered the Day 2 PCR Home Test in advance of our arrival back in Scotland and took the tests on the 2nd of January and posted them in our nearest priority mailbox. We followed all the instructions to the letter and made sure to 'activate' the tests, though we never got a confirmation e-mail of this. It was impossible to get in contact with Rainbow Labs because once you get through the 'queue' on the phone, it just hangs up. The one time that we did manage to get through, it sounded like it was an Indian call centre. The person we spoke with was no help at all and they said that the address on the pre-printed label was wrong and that it should be sent to Mount Pleasant instead. I'm pretty sure that 'Mount Pleasant' is just a Mail Centre in London. According to the Royal Mail Track and Trace, the tests weren't delivered until the 7th of January. On the 8th of January, my results came back as 'Unclear' and I've been advised to take another test or self-isolate for 10 days from the day after my test date. My partner's results thankfully came back as 'Negative' a few days later. Since we've waited so long for the results, we've already completed the isolation so we would've been better off not taking a test at all. It has been a total waste of money. If you don't live in- or near London, I think it's best to avoid buying a home test kit from Rainbow Labs, because there is no way that you can rely on the expected delivery times.

I have sent a PCR test number back to you on Jan 5th, and you received it on Jan 6th 8.16am. Today Jan. 11th, midday, and I still don´t have the results. I have just claimed my money back, waiting for a reply.

WARNING! Do not touch this lot with a forty foot barge pole. They did not send the test results for me or my family as they said they were not activated which is simply not true. COWBOYS.

ABSOLUTE SCAM. I PURCHASED 4 TESTS. NOT A SINGLE RESULT BACK. AFTER 3 MONTHS OF TRYING TO REACH BY PHONE (as no one answered my 100000 emails) THEY TELL ME MY TESTS WERENT ACTIVATED AND THIS IS WHY I DIDNT RECEIVE RESULTS. SIMPLY NOT TRUE. WASTE OF MONEY. RAGING.

Best avoid this company. I still have not received the results of my PCR test 12 days after taking it! It was not a postal test - I went in person to one of their test sites in a hotel in London - so they have no excuses about postal delays. I have spoken to and emailed their customer support requesting a refund : they were apologetic on the phone but could offer no explanation why the test result hadn't come. But they have not responded to my request for a refund.

SCAM company. I don't believe they are actually even testing the samples. I purchased a kit (as did a friend at the same time) through Arrival Diagnostics before we returned to the UK. The kits arrived 48hours after purchase not the 24h service that was promised, however, it was almost Christmas so a delay should be expected and can easily be forgive. Both of us completed the tests at our respective homes and posted them from different locations using the Priority Mailboxes nearest to our houses. Rainbow Labs received both tests according to the tracking info on the morning of 24/12/21. We both chased repeatedly for the results and on 04/10/22 I requested a refund as they had not met their promise. Less than 10 minutes later I got my result. On a document stating that I had a negative test, both the official time of the test as well as the sample's arrival we recorded as 5:12pm 04/01/22. Meaning that the laboratory test was carried out in less than one minute! I smell a rat. Shortly after this, my friend called me to tell me he had emailed them that day to request a refund and had received his result in less than 15 minutes from that email going off. We had not discussed this approach and therefore it would seem that the business model of Rainbow Labs is to take the money and falsify a test result when threatened with the prospect of returning the fee. I have reported this company through the complaints procedure on Gov.UK, it won't get my money (or more importantly my isolation over Chirstmas) back but I hope it saves others from the anguish if they are removed from the listing pages. Overall, the absolute worst part of this whole debacle in my eyes is that Rainbow Labs don't actually seem to be testing the samples. Do they just give you a negative result if you hassle them? The fear is that people are following the rules and getting a test, getting a false "all clear" and then unwittingly infecting others. That's truly not fair!

Dont test yourself with this company!!!!! I ordered 2 day PCR test with them, they promise next day delivery but the test kit came after 5 days!!!! Still waiting for my results also!!!!

No results after a week for day 2 test. When we called, the lab said we never activated the bar code. Company refused to refund and stated that we would have to pay for another test.

Ordered a home test PCR kit in readiness to take test the day after I arrive back in UK within the mandatory 2 days. Package arrived in plenty of time. I just opened the package they sent as I needed to do it this morning ready to take to post office on a Saturday morning, however the test was not in the box. All they sent was the biobag and security seal It then took a 40 minute phone call to explain how incompetent can they be. They offered no apology until I mentioned it. I'll now need to wait until Tuesday for them to resend it. Meaning I won't be able to take the test within the mandatory 2 days but in fact twice that, a point I'll inform any government jobsworth about and particularly Rainbow Labs incompetence.

Shocking company. Don’t use them. They refused to cancel an order when it hadn’t even been dispatched (their policy is full refund before item is dispatched). My husband is now on day 8 of waiting for his result. The law is that you self-isolate until you receive a result, so this company is forcing people to isolate for longer than is necessary. We aren’t even certain it’s ever going to arrive based on other reviews. What a waste of people’s money and time.

Worst service ever… this company completely ruined our Christmas. . I travelled back on 23rd December. Posted our tests (family if 4) Today is 8th Jan and still no results back. ??? We were not able to spend precious moments with family and friends as we have had to isolate.. Do Not Use . !!!!

Every time I've tested with them I've received my results but those were only lateral flows. They take ~2 months to respond to emails as well so make sure you don't have to contact them. They sent me two tests and I was checking to see if I could use the other one for a future trip if I paid for a click and collect and I received an email months later when they claim they will respond in 24 hours.

Terrible service, left high and dry on holiday with no test certificate sent. I had to pay another €40 for a test at a local clinic ro get a certificate to fly home Do not use this company they are awful, I send X5 emails, calls and still no response
