Robinson's Shoemakers is one of Ireland's most prestigious gentlemen's shoe companies offering bespoke shoemaking, traditional English footwear brands, a repair service and Robinson's own brand of off the shelf hand-made shoes.
Established Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland in 1954 by William & Annie Robinson as a local leather workshop and traditional cobbler, Robinson's has been at the centre of Carrickfergus for over 60 years. Now a third generation family business the company continues to grow from strength to strength offering expertise in all things shoe related not just locally but across the world.
In an ever faster paced world, were things rarely stay the same for long, it is refreshing to sometimes stop and to think at how things used to be done. Jul 13,2015The order reached Singapore on time as described in the delivery times. Everything was in perfect condition, box and shoes and even a free pair of sock. Too bad have to return it to exchange for half a size smaller due to this brand and design of shoes that runs bigger than other shoes. Really like the pop up window where someone is there to answer your question immediately. Really speed things up a lot and saves a lot of time. Rather than waiting for email reply. Will definitely shop here again.

Jul 21,2015Today I received a phone call from Robin Stewart, MD of Robinson's Shoes in response to the review I left yesterday. I didn't expect - but it was most welcome. It's fantastic to know that when customers are unhappy that companies are prepared to listen and respond in an appropriate manner - Robin obviously cares about his customers - rightly so. Would I have used Robinson's shoes based on my first experience? Probably not. Will I use them in the future? Definitely. My original feedback I called up by telephone prior to placing my order online and was told the shoes I required were in stock. I then received a call after my order was placed that they were not actually in stock. I confirmed that I would be receiving a refund and it was only after chasing up 8 days later was the refund processed and 14 days later the funds are still not back in my account.
