Robinson's Shoemakers is one of Ireland's most prestigious gentlemen's shoe companies offering bespoke shoemaking, traditional English footwear brands, a repair service and Robinson's own brand of off the shelf hand-made shoes.

Established Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland in 1954 by William & Annie Robinson as a local leather workshop and traditional cobbler, Robinson's has been at the centre of Carrickfergus for over 60 years. Now a third generation family business the company continues to grow from strength to strength offering expertise in all things shoe related not just locally but across the world.

In an ever faster paced world, were things rarely stay the same for long, it is refreshing to sometimes stop and to think at how things used to be done. There was an offer on one of the two pairs of shoes that I purchased. I needed to contact Robinsons about the delivery and they were quick to respond, which was excellent. The delivery was made in a timely fashion and was well-packaged.

Hi, I bought a pair of Loakes Brogues for my husband. The website was easy to use, even for me who is not paritcularly computer literate. Communication was really good and I got regular emails updating me on the whereabouts of my order. The shoes arrived when they said they would. The shoes were much cheaper than in the high street shops for exactly the same shoes. I can recommend this company for great efficiently and service and shoes that were over £40 cheaper than the high street stores:) Happy Customer:):)

I've made a few purchases from Robinson's, both in-store and online. They're kind to hung over customers, helpful to inquisitive online buyers, and most importantly, stock what I want to wear. I think it's also relevant to mention that they package things in a way that ensures arrival of said packages at the correct destinations. If you've (correctly) intuited that people (women and prospective employers) will ruthlessly judge you by your footwear, shop at Robinson's. They won't get you a job or companionship, but they'll help you get one well-shod foot in the door.

Good prices for great shoes, my feet do like to wear Barker Shoes! Shame about your preferred shippers drivers, the only delivery company who say they cant find where I live!!! First Class service from Robinsons

when you order goods via an online portal, you expect that site to prevent you from ordering or at least prevent you from paying until the goods are despatched. Not so with Robinson Shoes, they took my money, then advised me that the item was out of stock and despite sending me an email confirming they had made the refund... they did not credit the monies back to paypal. Do not deal with this company

Ordered a pair of Loake Cannon's and a pair of Loake Mitchum's, since no half sizes and not many colours are available to choose from in Sweden, to order from Robinson's Shoes was a good alternative. The shipment was sent on a Monday and arrived to me on a Friday - which is very good considering that it was a free international shipping alternative!

I was looking for a new pair of Barkers and my local retailers insisted on charging full price. Found same shoes in Robinsons on sale and ordered online. After placing the order I had a question which was answered by email very quickly. The shoes were then delivered within 2 days. So my experience was: I got a great pair of shoes at a great price with excellent service.

Bought some Loake chelsea boots on a special offer. They arrived very well packaged, as described. I feel like I got great value and an excellent service. Delivery was prompt and as stated. I would definitely recommend purchasing from Robinsons.

I have had two trouble free transactions with this company now and am feeling quite comfortable with the thought that this is standard operating procedure for this company. Even with the notification of a holiday and a delay of service I received my shoes much quicker that I expected. I am a very happy customer and will always look to them first when shopping for quality shoes.

This was the first time I ordered from Robinson's Shoes. I found shoes I wanted to purchase for my husband in another retailers catalog but they didn't carry his size. After much searching, I was able to find the shoes in the correct size on the Robinson website. When I ordered the shoes, I was told that they were out of that style and I would have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for them. I was very disappointed since I couldn't find this brand and style of shoe in stock anywhere else. The customer service rep did give me the option to cancel my order and get a full refund. I decided to keep my order with Robinson. I was so happy I did. I received an email from Robinson less than a week later telling me they have my shoes and were being shipped! I received the shoes in plenty of time for Christmas (they were going to be a gift). They were more reasonably priced than any other retailer and there was no shipping cost for them to be sent to the United States. I couldn't have been more pleased with the shoes and the service I received from Robinson Shoes. We will, absolutely, be returning customers.

I have never spent this much on a pair of shoes before and were it not for Kenneth's patience and multiple replies to my endless questions I still may not have, particularly as an online purchase. The service and advice I received via email was excellent. I felt valued as a customer and confident that I was shopping in the right store. Now I wait for my shoes to arrive- so exciting!!! Received my Barker Mills shoes in Cedar Calf and they fit perfectly, look amazing and are extremely well crafted. Robinsons offered the best price on line and shipped them out yo me immediately. First class service all the way. Thanks Kenneth!
