Robinson's Shoemakers is one of Ireland's most prestigious gentlemen's shoe companies offering bespoke shoemaking, traditional English footwear brands, a repair service and Robinson's own brand of off the shelf hand-made shoes.
Established Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland in 1954 by William & Annie Robinson as a local leather workshop and traditional cobbler, Robinson's has been at the centre of Carrickfergus for over 60 years. Now a third generation family business the company continues to grow from strength to strength offering expertise in all things shoe related not just locally but across the world.

Dec 29,2014Honestly I decided to buy on this store for two reasons: One, I had read some good reviews of their costumer service, and two, they had the boots I wanted as they do right now: Availability: In Stock - Immediate Dispatch. So I bought it and after I sent an email explaining how I needed to receive the order that week. I had no reply, so I waited. Two days latter they wrote me an email saying they were sorry but that article would take 4-5 weeks to restock. I immediately asked for a refund, so I could order somewhere else, I wanted them for Christmas. Again, I had no reply from them. I called on the next day and someone said they were too busy to reply my emails, and that they would refund me. This all happened between the 14th Dec. and the 18th. Off course I couldn't buy the boots I wanted. As of now, 28th Dec. I still don't see the refund on my account. I'm very disappointed with there costumer service and lack of response.

Dec 24,2014When they can be contacted the people are generally helpful, but there seems always some difficulty in obtaining opinions/ advice. After receipt of the latest order, I found fit to be a problem and returned the shoes immediately but a couple of weeks later am still awaiting a refund

Dec 23,2014I recently purchased a pair of Loake Smith from Robinson's Shoes from the online store. I was surprised at how fast the shoes were delivered to me in Melbourne, Australia, just before Christmas. I am very happy with the purchase and would definitely use Robinson's Shoes again

Dec 19,2014Orders should not be taken when goods are not in stock and neither should you pay for these none existent goods, still waiting for a refund that is taking too long, a bank transfer takes a matter of seconds

Dec 19,2014Having ordered a pair of shoes they were too big and they rang to say they were despatching before Christmas and to make it clear that there would be an extra courier charge to send the new size. Personal and honest.

Dec 12,2014I ordered a pair of boots which showed as being in stock online. A few days later, I got an email saying the boots were out of stock. The payment left my bank the next day.....rather annoying paying for boots that weren't in stock. I requested a refund that took a week to get into my account. Not ideal really.

Dec 29,2014I ordered and duly paid for two pairs if shoes. I was then emailed saying that they had no stock of the pair in black and they would be a further 6 weeks...the first pair have been delivered and i am still waiting for the second...it seems strange that a company can sell stock that they dont possess?
