Jul 07,2023Having come across the Heritage Range of cook’s knives and the bread knife on the Samuel Staniforth website I was impressed by the look of them. In particular I liked the fact that they were not only made in Sheffield but the SF100 steel was also produced in the city. After a telephone chat with the ever helpful managing director, Chris Hopkinson I placed an order for the full set which were made and dispatched promptly. I am delighted with the exquisitely made knives which are a pleasure to use and a testament to Sheffield craftsmanship.

Jun 07,2023I would highly recommend Samuel Staniforth for both their outstanding customer service and for the quality of the knives they manufacture. Our son has recently got married, and as part of his present we wanted to buy some good quality steak knives made in Sheffield. I found the website then contacted the company to see if they could give some more information about the choice of products (e.g. straight edge versus serrated) and received a lovely detailed reply with some really useful information. Also the offer was made to have a free tour to allow the newly weds to choose their own style. I usually don't like online shopping, but in this case I received a wonderful personal service, and felt reassured that this would indeed be a lovely wedding gift. And so much so, that I ended up ordering a new set of kitchen knives for ourselves! We are loving our new Dymondwood Earth range knives. .
