The AC-DC unit of my Visonic's PowerMax was gone and I never expected to be able to pick up a replacement one, but Saphire Alarms had one sent to me in Ireland in a couple of days. System was back up and running again in no time. Outstanding service. Many Thanks. James.

Purchased a Visonic alarm system from Sapphire alarms . It arrived very quickly as did other add ons I purchased a week or so later . I had a couple of questions that were answered straight away on the telephone and I must say its a great alarm system and it works very well . I liked the fact that when I telephoned for advice I was speaking to somebody that really new about the products they were selling . If you are thinking about buying an alarm system then talk / buy from Sapphire Alarms .

Ordered a battery and two panic switches, the parts arrived but the panic switches were not as described (no leaf tamper contacts). Called them up and was asked if I minded sending them back as they wanted to check if there was a bad batch, said they would credit the return postage cost to me and send out non-defective switches when they had checked mine . Duly sent them back 1st class recorded and then heard nothing for a couple of weeks till I chased them. Their first repose was now that they did not come with with leaf tamper contacts - only when I again checked their website and read out the description did they apologies and say they would sort it. I was expecting confirmation that new switches were on the way and was surprised when I got a refund of the purchase price. I then asked why they had done that without asking me first and if they were really wanted to refund they should also refund the postage costs, the then refunded only what they considered the appropriate postage cost which was nearly half what I actually paid. I did not have to send anything back at my expense in this situation, I did so in good faith and feel that they have been both lax and dishonest in their dealings with me. This is all for trivial amounts of money but if they are willing to do this for small amounts I wonder what they would be like for larger orders. Just suggesting you should be careful if you want to do business with them...
