It took me many weeks to get a refund for a pair of defective shoes. After receiving the shoes, I returned them using their online returns facility, and they were picked up by their courier. The shoes got lost on the way, but I wasn't too worried - the courier was arranged by them, and they were recorded as having been collected. Unfortunately, their customer service representatives acted as if they had absolutely no information about this, and kept on having me act as a middle man with the courier, despite them having been the ones to make the arrangement. It seemed they endlessly needed more information. What was the tracking number? What did the courier say? How many items was I returning? All this despite having arranged the return using their website. They even claimed to have sent an email closing my case, despite me having received no such email. It was only after I wrote an annoyed response to this that I finally got a refund. I would not recommend buying from Schuh.
Always a great experience, Every time I order trainers they arrive so quick and such a good price compared to others. Best shoe company out there

I had a fantastic experience with Schuh, I don’t understand why there are so many negative reviews. I ordered a pair of boots and they arrive on time, in perfect condition. Not just that, but after I ordered my boots, I realised that I wrote my delivery address wrong by mistake. I contacted their customer support and they answered and resolved my problem immediately. I will buy from them next!
I ordered and paid for a pair of boots as a gift, they were not delivered, there is some sort of delay and no information. I have emailed and was recommended to get hold of them by social media. When I contacted them by social media I was advised to go back to their contact page. I tried to use the online chat assistant on their contact page but all unavailable.
Just purchased £180 Doc Martins in Blue water. The manager attempted to sell me second hand boots with scratches all over them. When questioned he claimed that Dr Martins supply them like that. Completely waste of my time

I tried to order shoes via their website, but it doesn't let me checkout with my two credit cards and no Apple Pay option is available. Therefore, I travelled all the way to Teeside Park and spent 20+ mins waiting for the assistant to bring me the right-sized pair so I could just buy them and go home. I left without shoes, just tired of waiting. Then I tried to order the shoes from the website again, using a third credit card. It worked, but after confirmation of payment, it shows that I ordered the wrong pair that I never even had in my Cart. I immediately messaged customer service and got a reply the next morning that the order had already been dispatched and they couldn't replace the shoes with the ones I actually ordered. So now I need to spend my time, energy and money to return them back and buy the ones I actually tried to order. The worst customer service ever.
Stockton Teeside park. Was advised the shoes I was looking to buy were in stock and sales advisor said they would get me the shoes. Sales advisor walked away, served other customers. 2nd advisor offered to help, but then walked away and served someone else. Sat waiting 25 minutes so I left. Very poor service
Spent £120 on a pair of trainers which lasted about four hours before the soles split apart and made the shoes unwearable. As I was on holiday I threw them away because I was hardly going to fly them home again. Apparently I cannot be refunded unless they personally look at the damaged shoes and agree they were faulty. I’d sent video evidence of the shoes being broken but apparently that wasn’t enough. Not sure why they think I would lie when i’ve now lost £120 on a useless pair of shoes! Awful treatment of a customer and won’t be shopping with them again.
Visited Schu in Drake Circus, Plymouth. We were served by 187-Caitlin and she was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient we feel she is worth a pat on the back. Will certainly look for her in future visits - she is a credit to your company.
I went in to look for a pair trainers for my boy and can I say the staff were rude! They looked at me in disgust because I had to approach one of them to ask for help as they were in mid conversation gossiping! I got the trainers home for my boy to try on and unfortunately they fid not fit! I did not want to return to the shop as I felt extremely unwelcome. Therefore I contacted the online store for a refund! However, to my disgust they refused a refund stating they have been worn!!! They were sent back in original packaging and was not worn out side!!! I could not believe how I got treated!! They are sending me back the original trainers costing a huge £35!!! For a single mother that is a lot!!! I’m absolutely devastated! So one word of warning…. Do not shop here!!!

I bought a pair of boots for £170. I wore them one day and they were so painful. The elastic is so tight it squeezed my ankles i feel that my circulation was being cut off and hurting my toes. Feel like wearing clogs.. No comfort what so ever. Not worth £170.. I tried returning them for a credit note and told i can not return them and keep wearing them until the elastic loosens. So advised to experience pain for £170.. Disgraceful.
Bought through Klarna so didn't have an issue with the refund but they use UPS who needed a signature. Tried to change the delivery date and the website didn't work so they went off to the local centre, no card left. Couldn't get it redelivered as the website was still broken, phoned them up and there was a looping call centre so they ended up being sent back. Got my refund but never even saw the shoes and won't buy again as I'll have the same issue. Why not use a company that's website works?! Very disappointing as they were going to be Xmas gifts so I'll have to buy elsewhere.
Bought shoes in August sent them back in October as they were faulty. Refund has been processed according to Schuh!! Refund is not in my bank account. Last time i buy from them 😡
I bought my shoes 9 days ago and they still haven't arrived, missing the promised delivery date. I cannot contact anyone, customer service is an automated bot, with no updates, and no information.. Are my shoes going to be delivered? Have they been lost? Did they disappear into another dimension?? So many questions and no way to get an answer.
