Dec 04,2024Over all I'm glad to have had this as a tool to reduce the shock of paying for my dog's surgery, but after looking at the app and arranging payment I discovered that the way they set up auto pay (and don't let you make changes) is quite predatory. Be sure to set reminders to pay your installments manually. Any extra you put towards it won't reduce later payments, just push back the next. Its designed in a way to make you forget to pay so they can hit you with all the interest at the end.

Making payments was super easy too and flexible towards my payment goals and needs being able to pay what I can when I can. I’m paid off now, hopefully I won’t need it again but if something happens again I will have no worries using ScratchPay for help. Thank you.

Nov 27,2024I actually used to love Scratchpay. They have helped me in a time of need more than once I have paid off every time I use them. I paid them off early. I paid them on time. I even paid them too much and they’ve had to send me checks back there are several times that I have even Paid them off so early. I didn’t have to pay interest until this last time I needed them and then all of a sudden they decide I’m not good enough and they will no longer approve me why I don’t know they wouldn’t give me a reason my dog needed emergency surgery. I’ve never screwed them over. I’ve never done them wrong and they say no so I will never give them a four star review ever again.

Nov 22,2024My dog was rushed to the emergency vet and had to stay in the hospital under observation for almost a week. I told the vet I couldn’t afford it and was trying to prepare myself for the loss of my 5 year old best friend. Care credit denied me, my vet told me about Scratchpay and I got approved on the spot. The vet costs were just the beginning so money was tight the first couple months after and I was struggling with the payments in the beginning, but they were super understanding to my situation. Just paid it off a year later and I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am for a service like this in an industry that’s almost financially hopeless. Thanks for saving my baby’s life 🫶🏻
