Oct 12,2021My dog Simba was in emergency care and I could not afford it. The vet recommended to apply so my dog could get treatment. It was easy, fast and got results back in minutes. So far I do recommend scratchpay it helped me out when I really needed it. I have contacted costumer service to deal with my first payment and they were polite helpful and answered all my questions.

Oct 06,2021Poorly run company. I had a fraudulent account opened in my name. Person used an incorrect address and used to pay for services on opposite side of the country. I only found out about the account after receiving a late notice in mail. Unlike other businesses who take care of fraud on their end, I was required to file a police report and submit to them to investigate. Only editing this as a response to their reply. AFTER submitting police report I had received both an email and two phone calls from this scheisty company saying the report that I supplied was insufficient. HOWEVER, I had supplied exactly what police department provided to me. After spending 45 minutes at police station, they handed me a victim report and told me this was the only paper they would provide to me. It has a case number on it. Scratch Pay and their own investigation team refuses to contact police department directly as they need to do as per officer's instructions to me. Scratch Pay keeps telling my that "their process" requires me to submit something more substantial. The irony is that they opened an account with a fraudster who used incorrect mailing address, incorrect phone number, and incorrect email...but that person was granted credit one, two three. The law office of Wolf and Fuhrman LLP on Webster Ave in NY is willing to start a class action lawsuit against Scratch Pay. If you have had similar experience with them please respond to this review and or contact the law office of Wolf and Fuhrman LLP.

Sep 29,2021They double charged me 3 times. Twice in One month! Causing bank account to overdraw twice. They refuse to compensate for everything I went through. DO NOT GET A LOAN HERE! It took hours on phone and multiple emails to clean up the mess they put me through. They agreed I deserved compensation but refused!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

Sep 18,2021Couldn't use it because I got married and my new debit and credit cards have my new last name and apparently it needs to match my profile. Unfortunately because the profile is linked to my phone number, I can't create a new account either. And for some odd reason I can't just update my last name with Scratch pay. So now I guess I can't ever use it unless I get a new phone number or divorce. Neither of which will ever happen. Also its useless to have to use my husband's because I do all the vet app and it sends all verifications codes to his phone which I don't have with me.

Aug 13,2021I was told by my Vet that I could spread out payments at 0%. Didn't happen. The best they could do is 10.9%. Why would I do this if I could use one of three credit cards I already have at 6.9. What a Joke!

Aug 02,2021I was told this would not effect your credit, but that is wrong. I have made alll payments but I have this showing on my credit as a new line of credit. I used this only to not have it show on my credit report because I am currently in the process of buying a home and having new lines of credit opening up can mess me up. This company does not disclose all before using them. I will not use again, I would have been better of charging to my bank cedit card.

Requested a payment plan and got tough cookies we're going to make some lame excuse because we don't care due to the fact that we are a crock and a scam. This place needs to be dealt with and closed down. Why operate when you are only going to help your relatives and friends.

Jul 25,2021I got charged for a loan i already paid in full at the vet clinic and never approved of. Each time i tried contacting support for help on how to fix this, i got new and conflicting answers. I have never once in my life gotten angry with customer service workers till scratchpay.

Jul 08,2021I have used scratch pay three times now and I absolutely love this service. I don’t know what I would’ve done without the help of scratch pay loans in my times of need when I had an emergency with one of my pups. My dogs are like my children but sometimes the vet bills are just over the top and if not for scratch pay I would not have been able to give my dog the best care possible in those urgent times of need. Thank you so much scratch pay for all you do. Not to mention customer service is extremely Easy to deal with they have a phone number to call anytime and there’s always someone there to help you. If I could give more than five stars I would!!! I would recommend scratch pay to any and all my friends who have pets!!!

Jun 12,2021😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 My advice don't go through scratch pay they will destroy your credit and take everything you are worth. I am writing this because something needs to be done with them there needs to be a lawsuit filed against them. I am also calling and emailing a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau, ASAP! Our vet emergency happened at 2am in the morning. The office was full of sick animals, some how our email was confused with someone else email address. While waiting for a bill to come electronically, apparently they were emailing the wrong person. However, once I received a text message a month later, I immediately paid the bill. The next month I paid the bill in full. Instead of updating the months that I did pay retroactively, scratch pay said I didn’t pay at all and a delinquency was sent to the credit bureau. Scratch pay has ruined my credit for not paying $50 even though they know the email address was WRONG. Now for seven years I will have a 30 day delinquent on my credit report after not even knowing how much to pay or where to send the payment prior to receiving a text message on my phone. Scratch pay was sending my payment info to someone else email address. After I spoke to a supervisor and explained everything, nothing was done to help restore my credit. I requested to speak to a Manager and still have NOT received that call😡

Jun 07,2021Scratchpay is HORRIBLE! I had used them twice before. Made all my payments and on time. I went to use it again, and I was denied. I was a good customer with them and now they are denying me. I called customer service and you get someone just reading a script off of the screen. They are very unreliable. DO NOT USE! I am sure I will get a scripted reply on this review. So here's my edit to my review. Scratchpay is still horrible and I got the typical robo reply.

May 16,2021After a 2am Sunday Morning phone to vet I acquired about getting some emergency assistance/credit thru ScratchPay which I was denied & then insult to injury the previous evening getting a email notification 12 hours later saying that I was denied again, i guess they do that for good measure but I didn't need told twice about it & to be truthful it was very unprofessional. Maybe you can think twice about sending denied emergency credit to someone after they lose their pet. I could see if it was a simple request for credit etc etc but considering the circumstances I would just leave the pet owner alone & perhaps your guidelines and they way you conduct your business should be reviewed.

Apr 11,2021We also were in an emergency situation with our Daisy girl, a Great Pyrenees. Scratchpay was fast and offered more then we needed which was so reassuring our girl would receive all the care she would require. So far we have had absolutely no problems with paying or being charged extra fees. Everything is smoothly running along. There are always glitches in today's electronic world. Sorry some folks have had issues.

Apr 02,2021At one time, Scratchpay seemed like a great company that was really working to help people that would, in most cases, be unable to get financing through other channels. A couple of years ago, I got financing through them for a vet bill. If I remember correctly, they approved me for $1k and 2-3 years to pay. I ended up only needing about $250 but I still paid in installments over a year or so due to my financial situation at the time. Recently when I sought financing for another vet bill, upon completing the app online, they offered $1k with $200 paid upfront and then $200 every other week until it was paid off. I did not accept the offer. A day later I received an email stating that they could not approve me for $1k due to "several factors." For the next week, I received an email everyday that said, "Your approval for $1000 is still waiting for you to complete." I don't know if they've just gotten greedy or if they just decided they don't really care about helping those that really need it. Funny thing is that my financial situation and credit are so much better now than when I actually received financing a year ago.

Feb 27,2021My dog had a serious accident and I was gone out of town for a hunting trip and when I got back I found out that the accident was so bad my dog passed away the same day so I called around and was referred to scratchpay so I took out a $250 loan through them and I had to pay $50 up front with a bi-weekly payment of $50 so I did and I was good up until December. December was supposed to be my last payment but they said that the money bounced back into my account and I didn't even get the $50 dollars back but I didn't complain about it I just wanted to pay it completely off so they charged me with a late fee of $10 and in January I paid my account completely off with $50 and I was on the phone with one of their representatives when it was payed off and she said okay it is completely paid off I am closing your acount now and she did. Today I got a phone call from them saying that I am 101 days late for a payment and she argued with me that I never paid off my account even though I sent them screenshots of it paid off. My advice don't go through them they will constantly harrass you and destroy your credit and take everything you are worth. I am writing this because something needs to be done with them there needs to be a lawsuit against them. Given the comment down below they did resolve it but I will never go through scratchpay and they only did it because of the review!

Jan 29,2021I had to have my cat rushed to the vet and the vet recommend Scratchpay. They approved the loan of $1000. By the end of the day my cat was dead and owed money. I tried to pay twice with PAD and was told the payments went through. Then the calls started, so I sent a check with my third payment. According to them they never got it. Long story short, they say they don't accept payments from Canada. Then WHY was I sent to them?

Dec 30,2020I've used scratchpay a total of 3 times. The first two times were fine. The last time I used scratchpay I was approved and attended the vet appointment as usual. I'm not sure who the error falls upon but the loan balance wasn't submitted in time, loan timed out and it was about a month before I received a call to remedy it. I was told by a scratchpay representative to reapply and submit the total bill. I reapplied and was denied based on the previous application I assume. I ended up paying the vet bill out-of pocket. Since this incident I have been denied anytime I try to apply. The amount of time a loan needs to be used is very short. Considering COVID, the wait times and the limited availability, that should be changed at least temporarily.
