Sep 15,2020Very unreliable if your poor and have no credit you will be denied without a chance forced to spend sleepless nights call and countless begging vets for estimates you can't afford they are not for the common man.

Sep 05,2020I was desperate..my dog ate a sock and it was stuck in his intestine..put him to sleep..or 2500 operation..scratch pay saved my dog and me...and then my dog insurance reimbursed me..then due to covid I was late on a payment..they deferred it..so nice to work with..

Aug 24,2020My 4 month old English bulldog puppy became very sick unexpectedly I needed to see a vet right away. As Covid was in full force and money was scarce I didn’t know what to do so I googled for vets that took payments. It prompted me to a website called scratchpay.com. I applied for a loan and it had approved me for $200 for a vet very close to my house. I took her there and once I got there I received an email from scratchpay saying they couldn’t approve me. It prompted me to reapply, so I did. I was approved for an emergency vet close by who I took her there. I informed the assistant I had been approved for a small loan and my information should be in the system. $250 with a $50 Instant payment I was approved for and paid the 50 right away. After my dog was seen, the vet told me they did not take scratch pay and I could apply for care credit or pay cash. I cannot be approved for care credit. Any amount that was not used on midnight the day of the service was supposed to be closed out or voided, but I already paid $50 that posted to my bank account a few days later. Lo and behold it’s been over a week and I still have not been able to get a hold of anybody at scratch pay or get any of my money back on a loan that was absolutely worthless. Do not use this site! There’s not even a guarantee that if you’re approved, the place you’re going even takes this insurance and they will make you pay your first payment to activate your insurance. She almost forced to pay it right on the spot especially when you’re in an emergency situation where you’re not thinking clearly, you just pay it. Stay away from scratchpay!!

Jun 09,2020I obtained a loan from scratchpay for $250 for vet services. My first payment was successful. I had to call and give them a new card # before my second payment was due. I did this. I received an email that my payment was unsuccessful. I called because it was showing in my bank as pending. They said it was an auto email and they were sorry. Today, I woke up to not only the authorized payment pending in my bank but another for $50 and yet another for $120. This is now $20 over the agreed loan amount as well as a total of $170 in unauthorized payments. I will be contacting the BBB as well as an attorney regarding this matter. IF YOU ARE READING THIS TO DECIDE IF YOU WANT TO USE SCRATCHPAY, DON'T!!!

May 20,2020Super convenient at the time needed for our cat. During this difficult time financially, I called to see about skipping a payment.... First I was told that was not an option, then after reading a email from scratchpay regarding that option for anybody in Financial hardship he then agreed to skip a month. So I have got 3-4 phone calls, text messages and emails everyday telling me my account is past due! Grrrrr.... I just received an email stating I was going to be sent to collections if not paid within 3 days!!!! WTH?

Feb 26,2020Our baby, Toby, was attacked by another dog. Luckily we were able to stop it before it got ugly. Toby only suffered a superficial bite wound and scratches. A few days later he began coughing, wretching, etc... scratch pay was there for us to help pay for the care he needed. Toby had gotten sick from the other dog, but is doing well now. Hes taking his antibiotics and eating well agian. Thanks scratch pay for helping us help our baby...

Feb 23,2020As the vet wanted almost $100 bucks for a visit, not including anything else when we know for certain there would be other fees...the only option we were given was to 'apply' for help from Scratchpay as well as some other supposed financial assistance thing. Both turned us down flat. So much for caring.

Dec 18,2019When our cat fell deathly ill and needed immediate care, we were desperate. The hundreds of dollars required by the emergency vet had to be paid up-front, and we didn't have the cash. We were so grateful to see our vet worked with Scratchpay. We qualified in seconds (Scratchpay looks at more than just your credit, by the way), and Scratchpay emailed us to let us know the maximum amount we qualified for if we needed more money. The interest rate is on par with other small personal loans. Their website is easy to navigate. And Scratchpay pays the vet directly. Our first payment was due 30 days after Scratchpay disbursed funds to our vet. Ultimately we were just so relieved to not have to worry about the cash when were already so upset about our cat. Highly, highly recommend Scratchpay.

Nov 12,2020I was approved through a vet and Scratchpay asked Me to pay The $50 immediately. I held off bc I wasn’t aware I was going to need the payment plan. The next day Was the appointment, and I usually don’t check my email daily, but good thing I did because they sent a email saying they couldn’t give me the loan bc my credit blah blah blah. And I applied again to see if the email was legit, since I was already asked to pay, and they said You’re preapproved and asked for my card number to pay the $50 again. So if they already denied it, how are they going to approve me again. I don’t see why they’re so quick to take your money right away, even after denying you for a loan?? Got my hopes up. Luckily I didn’t need their payment plan, but it would have been nice to know this ahead of time.
