Jan 11,2024Great from start to finish. Richard costello came out to view our house and give us a market value for our property. He asked us what our thoughts were on the valuation and if we were happy with it. Photos of our property looked amazing we had been in there 31 years and done a lot of work, the photographer captured and highlighted this in our sale pictures. Richard kept us in the loop with everything. First day of viewing we had 8 potential buyers and 3 offers. Throughout the whole process Shortland Horne kept in contact. Sue Costello was very efficient and prompt in contacting us with queries from the Buyers and relaying our response back to them. She kept up to date with the Solicitors and ourselves on where we were within the process of the sale. Richard and Sue were both easily contactable. If they were out of the office we would leave a message with Lauren and they would respond within a good time frame. We would recommend Shortland Horne to everyone. Actually we have done. This was the 3rd time we requested their services. 2 other family members sold their property through them and they did a fantastic job then too. 13 weeks start to finish. Great work by all the team.

They have a lot of knowledge in the industry and always pass on as much relevant information as possible. Very good at making decisions, and always looking out for their landlords and tenants. Jan 09,2024First time we have used Shortland Horne in the 35 years we have been Landlords. Really impressed with the speed Claire came out to take photos and market the property. A tenant was found in less than a week and it was just before Christmas so usually a difficult time for letting. Will definitely be contacting Claire if one of our other properties becomes empty.

Jan 09,2024Shortland Horne were great in their delivery for selling our property, at a time when it was difficult for most to sell. They made the process easy and simple to follow and were straight to the point when requesting information. My guess is that they are one of the best at being able to sell a home, since there seemed to be regular interest and viewings, and my friends selling at the same time had a much harder time gaining any interest with other Estate Agents. I would definitely use again based on this. My only reservation was that I felt left out of the loop a lot with what was going on, and didn't get very regular or thorough updates. Often I'd had to phone up or email in order to see where we were. For the most part this was not an issue, but each time I received an offer I wasn't contacted for a week to discuss it. On one occasion a few days after the offer was made and I hadn't heard anything, and then the offer was rescinded. This was frustrating at times, because even though there may have been legitimate reasons for this, I was not kept in the loop and it was stressful trying to figure out what was going on. Also the viewing updates via email were not very helpful if I'm being honest (e.g. Have more properties this week to see before making any decisions.), especially in the absence of a phone call. I liked our main contact at Shortland. She was helpful and very professional. I think every time she was away on holiday was when we had these communication issues, where no one really picked it up. Overall I'd recommend to anyone selling. But just be aware you may have to keep on top of them a little bit.

They kept us up to speed on interest we received on our home during the selling stage and now SSTC, we know we can call them for regular updates. Richard was our agent and he was brilliant.
