Technician was very good Everything went well wasn't able to get the doorbell cause it requires to drill a hole through my house 4 stars cause slomens didn't give me the key fob and the signs and stickers that is all in the contract
When I bought my house I had their system installed. Since I called them to get service at my residence, they have been responsive and very helpful in walking me through the while process. They came in reinstalled batteries and got the system working perfectly.
All employees involved in the upgrade process were knowledgeable, polite and helpful. They were excellent representations of your company's professionalism and service provision.

Thorough and patient
I have great news and I have horrible news about my experience. To start I have been with Slomin Shield for 18 years. My old equipment wore out and I needed to replace all of my equipment with new and was happy to sign a five-year agreement to do so. The great news is the installer was on time, wonderful, knowledgeable, experienced and cleaned up everything when he was done. Very happy with the installation and the equipment that Slomins’s installed. The horrible experience was with the salesman. I’m not sure if he was trying to swindle me or if he had no idea what he was doing! What he put on the contract for a brand new installation was a couple smoke detectors and some key fobs. If it wasn’t for the wonderful people at Slomin’s, I would’ve had a patchwork old system with new smoke detectors, which is not an upgrade with a five-year agreement. The salesman told me I was getting everything that I needed to replace everything in my house and everything would be an upgrade to the system that was installed years ago. I did the contract in my car on the way to the office because the salesman did not show up at my house like they told me he would. He did the sales over the phone which puts customer at a big disadvantage because it’s very difficult to read the contract on an iPhone. I know what he said, and I know what he put on the contract. When I got to my office, I printed the contract so I could read it. I was only getting two smoke detectors and a couple key fobs. He did not include a new keypad, sensors, control board, or the app that works the whole system. No, he basically sold me down the river or has not a clue what he’s doing. Very frustrating and I had to make multiple calls to the company to resolve ridiculous contract that the salesman wrote up. Horrible! Thank you too the installer and all of the amazing people that work at Slomins for realizing that salesman did a horrible job and provided me with what I truly needed. I appreciate you all very very much!! It could’ve been an unbelievably worse situation because the salesman was inept but the people that work behind the scenes at Slomins and the installer did right by me and I’m very very happy with what I have and I will be with Slomins FOREVER🙂. The installer yesterday was stellar!
Tyler was an excellent technician. He showed me exactly what he was doing, and why. Showed me how to use the equipment and was pleasant to deal with. He was also very kind as we had a bit of activity going on at the house.
Installer is a true pro. We discussed my security concerns and where cameras should be placed. Very knowledgeable and expert installation of all the sensors and devices.
My system is not completely installed yet . No cameras are installed yet they say it’s to cold outside in the 20’s !! I worked on industrial air compressors outside in minus temperatures ?? You want a review when it’s not complete . I should not be charged my monthly rate until the system is complete !!!
Experience was great. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because they don’t provide a window day of installation like every other company does. But other than that, everything was wonderful.
The installer Charlie was professional, respectful and freindly. He explained all the functions and was respectful of our home. Highly recommended.
