I contacted Slomins to restore service as I was replacing my front and rear entry doors. My original system had holes drilled into the doors. With the renovation, the Slomins technician used wireless connections so as to not disturb the new doors integrity. I am very pleased with the professional and courteous sales team and technicians at Slomins.

Glad I didn’t do this review before this morning. Installation went well but I got the feeling I was annoying the installer with my questions about settings etc. Anyway I asked him to add the Family room zone to “Night.” Thought that’s what he did. Nope! This morning when we went down from the bedroom into the living room all hell broke lose! Alarms and Slomins calling. So I get the user guide to fix. But found out he gave me the wrong book for my control panel. So I call Slomins to hear it could take a few days to fix. Wait! He screws up and I have to wait days to get it fixed! Unacceptable! I should have kept the old system. And where’s my user guide to show me how to fix it myself?? Not a happy customer today!

Both heating and alarm technicians were all very punctual and very good helping resolve some problems that occurred the same day. Alarm technician was very patient going through the operational process after alarm installation. Excellent service exceeded our expectations.

The salesman that came over was very nice (of course he was wanting to make a sale). The alarm system I had was more than 30 yrs old; really needed the upgrade. The installer was nice enough and did a good job installing everything but could not install the door bell/camera (my door bell did not work). Now I need an electrician (which is not cheap). I had to ask for the key fob. I was supposed to get a sign for my lawn- not a big deal but it might deter some people from attempting to break in. I wanted a user guide or manual and all I got was something to square thing to scan- I could not figure out how to do that with my old android phone. So called customer service this morning, said they would email me a user manual - going on 5PM- no email- even confirmed my email with her. I like the new system, just not sure how to fully use it

Mar 09,2024Tech and supervisor worked on my upgrade. Both were patient and very detailed explaining everything that they needed to do. Would ask permission for any drilling and wiring that they had to do. I’ve been with Slomin’s for over 20 years now and would strongly recommend them for anyone needing an alarm system and heating.
