Jul 17,2022Originally I ordered a frame kit only. When it turned out that sourcing components was nightmare, Standert was super helpful in changing the order to a complete bike with some special requests from my side. They were very transparent about the progress of the order. On arrival there were two minor mix-ups (stem length, saddle) which they fixed swiftly. The product itself, Pfadfinder Custom, is brilliant. It is so many bikes and I only played with the tire pressure (Vittoria Terreno Zero 32mm) yet. Road, cobbles, hard-pack it is super fun to ride and many conditions. The frame itself is everything one expects from a modern steel build. Especially pleased with out of the saddle performance. Looking forward to discover many more things with the Pfadfinder like high mountains and bike touring.

Jul 08,2022Ich habe bei Standert ein Stichsäge Rahmenset bestellt. Auf dem Weg zur Bestellung wurde ich per Mail und Telefon vom Standert Team hervorragend beraten. Als der Rahmen dann bei mir ankam war die Enttäuschung jedoch groß. Eine Schweißnaht wies einen Defekt auf und ich musste den Rahmen zurückschicken. O-Ton Standert:"Sowas darf uns nicht passieren". Nun ist der Ersatzrahmen angekommen und er hat schon wieder einen "Fehler". Diesmal ist es zwar nur ein kleiner Lackabplatzer in der Nähe des Schaltauges, aber mal ganz ehrlich: wenn ich 1.500€ für einen Alurahmen bezahle erwarte ich ein perfektes Frameset. Solche Makel sind in der Preisklasse absolut inakzeptabel und vor allem durch eine ordentliche Qualitätskontrolle vermeidbar (insbesondere wenn der erste Rahmen auch schon fehlerhaft war). Ich hoffe die Jungs kriegen die Probleme mit der Qualität in den Griff, denn die Räder, so auch mein erstes Standert (Kreissäge Disc), sind eigentlich top.

Jul 07,2022The bike is nice, joy to ride and looks very good. Also special wishes were considered while ordering. Sadly it was not build up properly. Besides the pedals and handlebar which I knew that had to be fixed by me there were some other screws including the brake discs there were not fixed properly by the mechanics. This is not only very dangerous but also I had to go to a local bike workshop because you typically do not have the special tools to fix those parts. I did tell this to Standert but there was never an answer. ---- update 27th July: No answer from Tom or anyone, yet.

Jul 02,2022One of the most beautiful fixed gear bikes I’ve seen, with beyond Beautiful details! The astronomy touches are beyond what I could’ve hoped for from the frame. I’ve yet to ride it yet, but the beauty on its own pays for it’s weight in gold and slowly building up the frame with components. Couldn’t have been happier and the order-processing-shipping time was much quicker than I thought it’d be so amazingly happy ! Edit 1: I’ve ridden the frame and build and can attest that it is spicy and very nicely handled and stiff! Relishing in how easy it is to put down power!

Jun 13,2022the standert pfadfinder is a really great bike, fast and responsive on tarmac as well as on gravel. with a height of 190 cm and a stride length of 93 cm i ride a 60 cm frame height and feel very comfortable on the bike. It should be clear to anyone with taste that emerald rush was chosen haha. advice and service from the standert team in berlin were excellent. have a good ride everyone!

Jun 10,2022I just Comment on the Service here, The bike is very good and it Came very fast. Sadly the Service, Communication, Organisation and Consultation was very very dissapointing. It seems Its More important to be cool, and a Little misorganised,instead of beeing helpfull of offering good Customerservices….Since Ur bikes aren‘t exactly cheap i think improvment on that topic would be very good to Safe Quality on all levels! So Sorry to say that if i would Not Know a Little about bikes myself and that your bikes are good Quality, that shop experience and Lack of Communication, misorganisation would Not have convincend me to Buy From u Guys. Wish u all the best!

While not as processed and automated as the big webshops, it is all correct and trustworthty and the interaction with the people of Standert themselves account for a 5-star. It is like buying in their shop.

Jul 19,2022Just got my second standert Kreissäge frame and I'm in love. If I had one complaint it would be that the orange paint seems to fade fairly easily. If you have an older model it may be worth stripping the paint and having the frame cerakoted to save some weight and keep it rolling for years to come.
