Jan 30,2024We had the trip of a lifetime with Sunway to Lapland in December. Everything exceeded our expectations, from the moment we arrived at the airport and were greeted by the lovely elves all the way to our flight home. A special shout out to our elves, Twinkle toes, Holly and Clover! I would recommend Sunway if you're planning a trip to Lapland, it's definitely worth it.

Jan 30,2024From the moment we booked our holiday,everything that was required to make it special was by sunway.ie. We were greeted by an amazing rep in lanzarote who was so friendly and courteous. He explained everything from travel transport,accommodation,things to do and on our return journey how our transport was been arranged. Our accommodation and location were beautiful and so central. Really was such an amazing stay

Jan 27,2024Our rep and elf were fantastic. Our elf on the bus was amazing with all of the children and truly made the trip for us.The husky reindeer and snow mobile were far too short for the price we paid less than 5min a piece. I did write to sunway about our experience and got not response which was equally disappointing. I think Santa could also know the names of the children that he meets it would add to the magic of the whole thing, Santa knew nothing about the children. Even when you visit a Santa in Ireland you fill out a form with details in advance. While he was a lovely Santa he didn’t personalise the visit in anyway. Travelling at that distance and paying all that money it was a little disappointing

Jan 25,2024- I just expected more. I came home disappointed. - Santa had a fake beard? My 8 year old daughter was not convinced. I've seen better Santa's in the local shopping centre. - I feel the activities on day 3 should have occurred on day 2 and an option given to us to go huskie riding etc ourselves in our spare time on day 3. - The three rides we did as activities were very quick and over before we knew it. - Food in the hotel was appalling. - It's a cute little village but nothing to do given the spare time that we had. - The event on night 3 was poor. Everyone just sitting around, there was no buzz. - Hotel was nice. - Elves were nice and friendly.

Jan 24,2024We travelled to Lapland on the 16th December 2023 for three nights and it was a wonderful trip from start to finish. From the time we arrived to the airport on Saturday morning and met with the "elves" Pixie and Bubbles who accompanied us on the trip, it was full of excitement and the enthusiasm from both elves was contagious. Everything ran very smoothly, from boarding, to the onboard flight and the two elves were absolutely amazing with the kids providing excellent onboard entertainment. It was crazy but so much fun. Arriving at kittila airport, everything went smoothly, between collecting the snow suits and transfer to Saaga Hotel, where we were also accompanied by another elf " Chimney" who was also excellent from start to finish. Loved the whole experience and activities - the only negative was the " short reindeer sleigh ride" - we wanted it to be so much longer as it was such as beautiful setting. The elves were wonderful, the hotel was lovely, with the pool a huge bonus. It was a trip of a lifetime and expensive but worth it. Special mention again to " Pixie , Bubbles and chimney the Finnish elf" who worked their socks off on behalf of Sunway. Thank you.

Jan 24,2024We had an absolute fantastic time at our 3-day (2 nights) trip to Roveniemi. Bubbles and Pixie were fantastic elves from start to finish. Moonlight stayed with us for the majority of the stay in Finland. Also a lovely elve. They made the children and adults super welcome. All the drivers were super friendly. We arrived late due to bad weather but the staff made sure we didn't miss our planned activities. Everything was super organisded with getting our gear and going to the events. They had little suprises ready like lovely oven sausages, marshmellows, hot chocolate, mulled wine... Our hotel Sky Ounasvaara was right beside a ski resort and the usage of the lift was free for guests. We even squeezed an hour skiing in. The rooms were fantastic with own sauna. The food was Gourmet style. The second day was packed with lovely adventures and a lovely show in the evening. The third and final day we went to Santa village. My son in particular loved the huskeys and reindeer. I was a single parent travelling with one child, which was a little tricky personally, amonst so many families but I found another single parent to chat with and we got the opportunity to chose to sit together at the dinner table for the show. Maybe keep an eye out for the single parents travelling. Thanks.

Jan 23,2024A truly magical and memorable trip. Sunway was at the core of this with Elves with us every step of the way, a special check, meeting families and accompanying them onto plane. They really went the extra mile befriending then from start to return journey home. It really was a most spectacular trip to Lapland from start to finish with great attention to detail from food served (catering for all tastes) to trip meeting Santa's, snow Village and ice hotel. It may sound expensive but it really was a most enjoyable and memorable break. 3 generations of our family got to share this making it Very Special indeed Thank You

Every part of the trip from the plane ride, the activities, the elves, absolutely perfect! I haven’t stopped recommending this trip to anyone who’s asked since we’ve been back. 100% worth every penny!

Jan 23,2024I was very impressed with this trip from start to finish. It begins at the airport and everything that can be done to make this a magical experience is. Although this trip is a lot of money having experienced it now I do feel it was value for money. Despite the fact you are ferried around with the same group of people in a bus it did not feel like an escorted group holiday. There were lots of times to be individual. As a family, we loved all activities. This holiday was suitable for all our family 17, 13 and 6 years old and as adults we enjoyed it too. You do not need to spend any money extra unless you choose to buy souveniers etc. I was incredibly impressed with the standard of food. Especially the gala dinner. I would absolutely recommend this trip to families and I am sure everyone will come home a true believer. Good job Sunway for a job well done.

She explained all the aspects of the trip for me, as a first time cruiser, and ensured that I was clear and happy about all elements. She even phoned me over Christmas holidays to check us in and to reassure us that everything was in order. Trust Sunway!

From the airport fun ( elves, music, decor ) to all the activities etc ….. i am speechless, myself as an adult had so much to explore and experience Sunway knows what they do as this 3 day trip was so well organised. I am exceptionally impressed and so happy ;) 😀 Fiffi elf and Snowdrop - amazing real life elves , my little one was mad about them. Thank you girls 💓💓

Jan 30,2024Excellent hotel, excellent location to suit our interests. Both flights on time. Transfers were ok. We had to search for the specific company desk on arrival( No name- just a number as if they are hot-desking ). We particularly had concerns on how to verify time of pickup.
