Jan 18,2024We have never booked a cruise before and i am delighted we chose Sunway as our travel agent. We received the travel documents well in advance of travel. There was a technical glitch with the cruise app which meant it couldn't recognise eircodes, and the Sunway helpline team were so helpful in explaining the problem and getting us registered for our boarding passes. They were also so informative with regards to my travel queries of the ship and booking excursions. We had a little delay at arrivals at the airport as there was no sign of our transfer transport, luckily we found other people in the same situation, and once again the helpline answered and assisted promptly (it was Dec23rd!). Onboard we were absolutely delighted to find we had gotten a room upgrade which was a nice destressor! Disembarcation on the final day was 8am, with flight home at midnight, so sunway provided a hotel to rest/refresh in - a lovely touch!

Jan 17,2024The 3 night package made everything so easy for a young family. The elves Trixie, Baubles and Snoozy along with all the other elves were brilliant and entertaining. They helped get us sorted with fitting the thermal suits. Really enjoyed Hotel Sokos and the pretty setting of Levi. Found the food very good. Santa’s hidden village was very enjoyable and memorable. The husky, snow mobile and reindeer rides were short but we found them the right duration for young children: 4-10years old, a nice taster. You could visit a snow mobile park independently or ski in the downtime but tobogganing locally was perfect for us. Unforgettable & magical.

I decided to call the customer service about a package holiday I found on Sunway.ie in order to apply a 5% discount as advertised by their business partner (Axa insurance). They confirmed the discount then Kelly asked me to log out of the system (it was the last room available) which i did and waited to get a call back to pay for the holiday. To my shock they increased the price by 800 euro and when i pointed out the original price she started stuttering a web of lies!? I asked to speak to a supervisor but they never called!! Appalling customer service and extremely greedy company! Avoid at all costs!

Jan 08,2024We visited Lapland in December 2023 with Sunway on the three night trip. We found the trip excellent and all the Sunway staff we encountered were all very attentive and couldn’t have been more helpful. We would like to give a special mention to our two elves Pixie and Bubbles however who were with us from start to finish whether that be check in, the flights, meal in the hotel etc and they stopped at nothing to try and keep the kids entertained and even when there was delay to our flight they had the kids drawing and danced in the aisles at the boarding gates to the flight. Also our Finnish elf for the trip was Peppermint Polaris and she was brilliant from start to finish from assisting us with getting our thermal gear sorted to entertaining and keeping everyone informed on the bus trips an various activities. The trip itself was action packed and we found that if you can take the 3 night trip we would highly recommend it as it gives you a chance to relax in the hotel when you arrive before a very action packed second day when you take part in various activities such as huskie rides, reindeer rides and snowmobiles all before going for lunch and then going to santas village which the kids absolutely loved. The 3rd day is more relaxed but goes a lot quicker than you would think. You get to visit the snow hotel which is a nice experience and then have a group dinner that evening. The 4th day just gives you time to have an easy breakfast before boarding the bus to return to the airport for your flight home.

Jan 02,2024We had an amazing 3 night experience with Sunway to Lapland. From the moment we arrived at Dublin airport, we were greeted at check in by the super elves, Twinkle Toes and Néady. Face painting, games, Christmas music continued from here on to the flight too. On arrival to Kittila airport, we collected our bags, snow gear for our trip and then made our way to the hotel on our assigned coach transfer. This was all so seamless and stress free, very well organised! We stayed at the Saaga Hotel, full board. Hotel and food both great. Choice of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner suited all the family. We also took advantage of the indoor pool while we were there. Outside the hotel reception, there were sledges available to use free of charge. We spent free time outside enjoying the snow! Excursions organised were excellent. We did taster husky, reindeer and snowmobile rides. Visited a snow village/ice hotel and not forgetting the great Santa visit! Nothing was rushed. Plenty of time to enjoy the experiences, play in the snow and take in the wonders of Lapland. We cannot recommend our trip enough. We loved every minute of the magical experience from start to finish.!

Dec 30,2023The trip was great. But for this price I expected better. 😌 I could rate the elves and their performance perfectly. Also, I would rate the hotel and the food quite well, but certainly not 10 points. But we were very disappointed by the ride with huskies and reindeer. 🥹 The rides lasted up to 10 minutes for the family. One lap in the fields. 🙈 In my opinion, the organizers or guides chose not very good local organizers of such trips. 🤷♀️Our family expected really bigger and more impressive emotions in such wonderful Lapland. We are sure that we will be back there again.

Dec 29,2023From the very minute we entered Dublin airport it was just magical. The kids were greeted by Santa's elvies. Over the next 3 days everything was organised so well.Nothing was any hassle. Our rep Eileen was so nice and very helpful throughtout our trip to lapland. Would highly recommend.

Dec 29,2023The elves both on the flight and in Lapland absolutely made the trip and gave it their all morning, noon and night. The hotel Saaga in Yllas was comfortable and the food a good standard for a buffet. The Christmas party was on far too late at 8pm and Santa not coming until 9.30pm and another hour waiting for our turn. The excursions departed early every morning, meaning we had been up since 7 so the children were exhausted by this stage. The room in the hotel was very spacious and the sauna and drying cupboard were nice extras. The excursions were all enjoyable and any staff we met were helpful and friendly. The pre trip service from. Sunway was disappointing. We had numerous issues making payments. We received very little information about what we needed to bring etc and didn't receive details of the trip until I phoned up a week before we went. Also when I phoned to enquire about the possibility of skiing, I was told we were nowhere near any skislopes and there was no free time at all. We were approximately 200m from the gondola and skischool! We also had a full free afternoon and had we been aware of this we would have booked a half day skiing. We did manage to squeeze in an hours lesson the last day which was magical but my son would have loved some more time on the slopes.

Dec 29,2023Travelled to Lapland with Sunway Dec 2023. It was amazing from start to finish. The Sunway elves were fantastic and brought Christmas magic from the moment we met them in Dublin airport. Everything was so well organised. I would highly recommend this trip.

Dec 28,2023A great family experience from the moment we were queuing to check in !! Happy tontue was unbelievable and a top member staff along with the Irish elves how kept the kids entertained ! Food basic but satisfying , suggestion of a simple plan pasta or bolognese would have been welcome for those little fussy eaters .

Dec 28,2023The whole trip to the North Pole was fantastic! The team at Sunway made the booking process very simple, with lots of regular communication in the run up to the holiday. On the holiday itself, every person we dealt with was great - the elves on the flight and at the activities in Lapland were very engaging, and kept the kids entertained throughout. The itinerary was packed just right - lots of interesting things to see and do, with just enough down time at the hotel to recharge the batteries for the next day! Strong recommend all round!

The holiday was brilliant, we didn't have to worry about anything as everything was arranged. The magic the elves brought from the second we walked in to Dublin airport until we returned was second to none. I only wish it was longer.
