I wish I still wrote good reviews about Tandem Bank as I always do. Unfortunately this time I am feeling hurt and cheated. 3 weeks ago I put 20K in Tandem's one year bond after told by Tandem's staff the rate at 5.2%, now I check it's only 5.07% Absolutely unbelievable and disappointed! Guys out there watch out Tandem's rate carefully !!

Been very happy with them. I like that I can only make payouts to accounts I have elected from a security point of view. When my special rated interest came to an end I've got a really good fixed deal better than high street banks by far and even better than building societies I used to deal with. It's quite easy to get your money out takes about two hours to come into the current account. I'm just wondering whether they do current accounts I'd be interested given the service I've had which has been good up to now. Just not into the green thing really that's my only criticism but I just ignore it I don't think it's the place of a bank to be worrying about things like that. I don't have a car I'm quite frugal no foreign holidays so I've probably got a very green footprint anyway without obsessing about it in any way shape or form lol
Locked founds but had an emergency and needed them back. Called on the 14 day cooling off period and was told that founds will be on my bank account the next business day. I did not receive the founds but an email fighting this. Sorry to say but the info given via telephone is contradictory to the email one. Would I trust tandem?

Wanted a refreshed statement to show transactions within account. Required this for anti-money laundering checks for house purchase and need to show the money in the account and then the transaction of it going to solicitor. Tandem apparently can't provide statements other than at the usual monthly times. Pretty poor. An AD HOC letter was provided but this shows nothing other than the current account balance.
I moved and wanted to change my address. Couldn’t see how to do it on the app, so emailed. Reply next morning was to ring or use chat facility on the app. Used chat and no hanging about, it was done in less than 2 minutes. Really good service.
