Apr 17,2024AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY ARE VERY POOR IN ANSWERING YOUR QUESTIONS AND YOU CAN NEVER SPEAK WITH THE ACCOUNTANT. THE CASE MANAGERS ARE CLUELESS. I HAD TO SEARCH ON GOOGLE FOR THE ANSWER I NEEDED. MY QUESTION WAS...IS YOUR HOUSING EXPENSES/RENT A TAX DEDUCTION. AND YES IT IS IF YOU HAVE AN LLC AND ITS PART OF THE OPERATING AGREEMENT/JOB BENEFIT YOU GIVE YOURSELF. NOT TO MENTION CANT ANSWER WHAT % OF YOUR CAR INSURANCE IS A DEDUCTION WHEN ITS 100% DEDUCTABLE. ESP W FIXED MILEAGE. FIND A LOCAL ACCOUNTANT THAT YOU CAN SEE FACE TO FACE AND SPEAK WITH. AVOID THIS BIZ LIKE THE PLAGUE. A WASTE OF MONEY.

Apr 17,2024Do fall for these scammers. I was owing IRS $8758 and after the resolution nothing happened. IRS send me a notice that I am still owing $8759 but the most painful thing is that Taxrise changed me $2100 for free. I called IRS representative and she explained to me that they can work things out for me if I have contacted them early. The $2100 fee can pay some of the debt. That is the worst thing ever happened to me.

Apr 14,2024Our experience with TaxRise has been mostly negative starting with our first conversation when they told us they can save us $4k right away and possibly more later. Turns out they did save us $4k and only that amount after charging us $6k for that service. also, the process took forever, they would email us asking us to respond immediately and when we did, they took their time getting back to us. the last issue (which is still ongoing is that they offered to help file our current taxes and are still working on it months later (they even tried to file it and it was rejected because of an income that other accountants and H&R block didn't have an issue with in the past. Stay away and please avoid!!!

If I can rate this company zero stars I would they advertise that they can get several thousands of dollars worth of debt down to a few hundred but it really is is they just contact the IRS to try to negotiate a payment plan on your behalf. You can do that yourself for free, I started the initial Process, But was waiting for a check to come in to pay the initial $375 balance that they said it was a “discount”. A few days Went by, I continued to research the company. They’re not who they advertise themselves to be. You do not need to pay $2500 to schedule a payment plan with the IRS. These people are just praying on people who are ignorant to the facts. None of these companies, whether it be credit repair or tax relief is legit. They’re counting on you to know. If you’re trying to repair your credit, it would only hurt a credit repair company to boost your credit to good standing once they do that they no longer have your business so they’ll just boost it up a few points every month to keep you thinking that their methods are working, it’s the same with these tax relief companies do not fall for it !

Apr 11,2024This company isn’t as honest and upfront with a client. It is a sales talk no matter how honest you are to tell them your situation. When they finally talked to me re the resolution, they just basically relayed to me the offer that the IRS gave me if I went directly thru them. So now I have a $2850 credit card debt to pay for the fees taxrise required from me and a resolution that I could’ve just gotten if I went directly to the IRS. They knew I was a widow that was seeking help and they used that . Yep you guys are so quick to close my case the fact that Taxrise just went through the automated service to appeal my case!!!! Wow!
