This is the worst organization. I have been trying to get anaswers, talk to someone on the phone and get an update on my case since last May. As I write this review I have been on hold for 6 min (for the second time). I am trying to get someone to talk with live and ask for a refund.
Maddie was great in the billing department! Very knowledgeable and actually trying to help or understand to help . I just started the program last year . As of now still kind of confuse of me having to pay extra . Specially when they said they will cover my 2023 filing taxes and now I have to pay $650 which is $150 more than what I was told a couple of weeks ago, and obviously I was told it was going to be included . Not happy about that , but I kinda don’t have a choice now . Now I have an appointment with someone who is going to explain everything to me again so we don’t have more understanding . Hoping everybody is working with good faith and integrity . I’ll keep you guys updated . I know it can be very scary giving out all your information and trusting a company not to screw you over . I have NOT HAD A GOOD EXPERIENCE with TaxRise. My case has finally been resolved, if you can call it that. When I first signed up, I was put on a payment plan and TaxRise took money early and caused an avalanche of NSFs. They misled me into thinking that my initial payment was all I had to pay, but after I got the initial payment paid, they come back with an additional amount that has to be paid before they will take my case. Well, after that they request information and I send it. After a LONG while with NO COMMUNICATION, I call TaxRise to find out they have dropped my case. TaxRise settled my case with a settlement that will last 5 years provided my circumstances don’t change. The IRS will keep the next 5 years of tax refunds. If I had known what I know now, I WOULD DEFINITELY HAVE GONE WITH ANOTHER COMPANY! TaxRise took my money and the result they got me, I could have gotten myself for FREE!!!!!

Michael was great. Took the time to find out what was going on as everyone else did not. He called and gave me a direct answer. Michael was great and got it resolved in one phone call. I look forward to speaking with the resolution department next.
I called frustrated as I'm tech and computer illiterate. I was in fact pissed when I called. Elizabeth Marquez was most helpful in a delightful and welcoming way and eased my mind almost immediately by answering the questions I had!

I wouldnt give them 1 star if I didn't have to put something. I am a very fair person and tax rise did nothing for me. The end result did not change!! Except I was out 1800.00 to tax rise. I told them I wanted it in writing the agreement of 177/month to IRS for next 7 years and they couldn't oblige. I will be fighting them for the money I paid them.

I am impressed with the representatives and services provided by this company. The agents are cordial, informative and knowledgeable. Actions are outlined, sequenced and documented. Followup requirements are listed and progressive steps are reviewed to achieve the desired results.

Never ever should you trust/rely on TaxRise at all (they should not be a company). Even after I made my 1st complaint last month, they addressed it multiple weeks later. The “Quality Insurance Dept.” must be backlogged with so many issues. After spending (wasting) an hour+ to talk to anyone at TaxRise on the phone. Once I made contact I continually get bounced around from one department to next. And even back to a previous department. They told me to take down/delete/remove every negative post (they are all negative) or they will not give me a refund which even if you get that it really doesn’t matter anymore as my problem went from manageable to the this potentially that my wages will now start getting garnished. The issues they have caused me, just please try someone anyone else not saying whom ever is better, but it can’t be worse than TadRise. Oh btw I was only allowed to choose one date of the issue when it should be like half a year of issues minimum. I have plenty more problems to relay that occurred if anyone wants to know.
I simply needed copies of some tax documents and Samer Wahbi promptly sent the requested documents to me. Samer Wahbi remained on the call as I waited to receive the documents. I was impressed with the level of professional concern and satisfaction.
