The new upgrade and equipment made a huge difference. I know our comment cards will improve as a result.

Tried to get service at KOA in Chula Vista, CA. Could not connect. Called TengoInternet service number. Ticket number 279515. Technician finally reset access point #6677. 20 minutes later could finally logon and ran three speed tests with following results: Test 1. Test 2. Test 3 Ping time. (ms) 70 337 221 Download rate. (Mbps) 0.62 0.20 0.14 Upload rate (Mbps) 0.27 0.00 0.00 REALLY! That's the best you can do? Your core business is to do one thing........provide internet service. A total failure.

How does this company survive? I tell you how, if you are in a location that no one else will provide service to. As a park owner, we seem to be over a barrel, if someone knows who WILL provide service to our location, we would switch in a heartbeat! Can a company be sued for charging for a service and not delivering? How does that work......

This company has infiltrated campgrounds and RV parks far and wide because they take the responsibility for providing a service which has become a very important but often quirky and troublesome nuisance for park operators. These operators wash there hands of any involvement and leave the customer to deal with Tengo. Do they not realize that many people given the choice and with all amenities being more or less equal, or even not, will chose a park that has better, non Tengo, internet service!!?? There are other choices!!

Save your money, this internet service isn't worth it. You pay good money...the longer you use this service, which you have paid money for, the slower the speed of your service becomes. Seems if they feel you are using "too much" internet time they keep reducing the speed till you can't do anything. Yet they advertise fast internet. Someone doesn't like this review, I keep being told to edit it. Bottom line save your money .. this service is junk

For a 'fun family outing', I got dragged down to San Diego to spend five nights in an RV park with my two younger siblings, my mum, and my grandparents. It's not exactly pleasant here. I've only spent three nights here so far (as I type this, it is the fourth night, but I have not counted it), and have spent more than that at my grandmother's. The internet provided contact with the outside world by powering things such as skype and email and, quite honestly, kept me sane. There were times with tengo where the wifi would be perfect! Videos would buffer, pages would load quickly, and everything would run smoothly. Then I would be randomly kicked off the wifi network, with no explanation. Other times, it would take an hour for an email to send, and another just to load a video. My phone died, leaving me with no way to access the intenet. All across the web, I found dreadful review after dreadful review. To sum it up-THIS THING SUCKS DUCK

The ability to connect to their access hubs is spotty at best. After one week of weak signals, a second week with the equipment out of service and a third week with the log-on link being strangely removed from their hub access page, I'd have to give this business' service a D rating. But, after speaking to a manager (Robert) about the situation, I downgrade them to F-.

Have been subject to Tengonet internet service for 5 years I can say it has to be totally worthless. Constantly must relog in, so slow to transmit the PC shuts down, Customer Service has a list of problems that are all customer related. When I change to my phone Hot Spot, all the connect issues are resolved. I can not believe that wireless service in a top rated RV resort should be this poor. Tengointernet is hurting the reputation of this wonderful RV Resort.

Ive seen many things in my life. Ive seen great products and then ive seen Tengo Internet. Will be staying in a RV park for the next 240 out of 365 days in 2014. RV Park has tengo internet as its provider. Every other day the internet is down. Clear sky all day and nite and its not working. First thing they ask is how the weather is. Weather is PERFECT i tell them. Its not the weather its your junk equipment. When it is working its super slow as well. It should be illegal to even charge money for a product that doesnt even work half the time. They should pay people to use their service. Called last nite like i do everynite to see if they can fix the service. Recording comes on "You are now the first caller in line". Really? Then how come i waited on the phone for 45 minutes as the first caller? You are better off having dial up 56k modem internet speed than Tengo Internet. I cannot wait till high speed internet is in rural areas and everywhere so a company like this wont be in business and allowed to charge people for a garbage product. Btw, the RV park is located in the middle of a town so its not like its in a rural area.

Unbelievable! These guys want essentially $30.00 for a very limited data allowance and then when you want to stream Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon they want an additional $44.00! Major ripoff for a service that works sporadically depending on the demand, cuts out for days at a time without any effort on the part of the company to fix the service and phone techs who assure that if you sign up you will be able to stream, "No problem"! Completely failing to mention that there it's an additional HUGE fee for four that. Don't use these guys, they need to be replaced by a company that actually offers a decent service for a decent fee.

We are hooked up with Tengo while on vacation at an RV park. We have traveled extensively, and have used many internet services, ALL of which have been much better than Tengo. We called for technical help, and the first person we dealt with was great, tried his best to straighten out the problem. He was not able to do so, and passed us on to an "expert", who did nothing but deny that there was even a problem. Tried to indicate that we needed more equipment, that it was perhaps our computer that was at fault, and that our problems (mulitiple) were to be expected, and normal. Funny how we never had them anywhere else! Tengo, never again will we pay for your services. Smarten up!

I am the IT administrator for an RV park. We use Tengo Internet as our WIFI provider. I do believe it was the worst decision I have made. THey are very nonchalant about service issues and to get support it takes at least 3 days for them just to talk to you about an issue even if you calles them for 3 days. They are very disrespectful to our customers that call in, due to issues with their product. They do not return calls and just expect you to know what is going on. If I could give them a negative 5 stars I would.

Tengointernet at Circle M campground is horrible. It is down 50% to75% of the time and even when it works it is slow with many dropouts. The customer service reps are receptive to complaints and polite but nothing gets resolved.
