May 30,2024I ordered white hibiscus plants from them in the spring of 2023 - they arrived in dormant state. After several months had passed, they did not show any activity of growth so I sent the nursery a note asking for guidance. Their reply - it might take an entire growing season for the bushes to come out of dormancy, so essentially wait until next spring. Fast forward to 2024 - the bushes, as expected, were now dead. I sent them pictures and asked for next steps....their reply? "Sorry, you are outside of the 1 year warranty period." Fortunately, I had expected that these bushes were in fact dead last year and ordered bushes from Home Depot online which were planted elsewhere -they arrived green and are doing great. Words of advice - don't purchase anything from this nursery unless you want to wait 12 months in some cases to see anything green and/or be told that you 'are outside of the warranty period.'

May 30,2024Awful experience, do not buy from this nursery. I was excited to order from them because they seemed to be a reputable merchant, however, this was not my experience. I ordered six 5ft-6ft pawpaw trees but when they arrived they we barely over 3ft tall. I contacted customer service who asked for picture proof which I was happy to provide. They responded and said they would refund the difference between the tree size I ordered and those I received... $12. I told them this was not a suitable solution as they were not the product I had ordered and I did not want 3ft trees. And to call these trees is an insult to trees everywhere- they are sticks at best. I offered to send them back but they never responded and just issued the refund. In the correspondence I had with their customer support, they never provided their name which to me is a big red flag, not to mention highly unprofessional. I did get a good chuckle when they took the 4ft-5ft tree option for this product off their site right after I made this complaint- likely because they realized they don't actually have those trees in this size.

May 29,2024I received roots for 5 shade perennials. I planted all of them under the same conditions. The roots that had some greenery on them when delivered are all growing. The roots that didn't have any greenery have all decomposed. My success rates are as follows: Vinca Minor 4 of 4, Evening Primrose Yellow 0 of 4, Evening Primrose Pink 1 of 4, Bloodroot 0 of 4, and Hepatica 3 of 4.

May 26,2024Tennessee Wholesale Nursery FAILED in two critical areas: CUSTOMER SERVICE - I ordered my trees for fall 2023. Never received the trees until late Spring 2024 after a long trail of email exchanges, false promises, no option to cancel the order, and major frustration. POOR QUALITY TREES - I ordered seven trees. Two are growing (witch hazel). Three river birch and two elderberry are doing nothing after more than a month in the ground. It's not just the cost of the trees; it's the time and effort to prepare the planting holes, amend the soil, purchase supports and protection, keep them watered. All for nothing! Going forward I will NOT purchase from TWN. I will visit my local nursery and purchase healthy, viable trees. You should, too.

May 25,2024Rather than receiving thriving plants, you're sent dormant sticks and expected to play Dr. Frankenstein to bring them to life. It's a futile effort, and when you attempt to invoke the warranty, they dismiss it by claiming negligence on your part. It's nothing short of a scam. There are superior nurseries available, or even better, support your local community by shopping locally. I suggest wilsonbrosgardens.com for exotic plants online. They responded with the same no resolution the plant died no help getting it replaced.

May 23,2024The pink dog wood is very strong and growing very well. But I got 2 trees and 1 was free but the white dog wood is got had 0 life to it even after being planted s few months but that's the free 1 no hard feelings ill buy more soon

May 21,2024I ordered 6 persimmon trees and 20 arborvitaes last December. 5 of the trees and 2 of the arborvitaes didn't survive. I was asked to send pictures of the dead trees which I did only to be informed that your warranty didn't apply to them. Please take me off your email list bacause I won't be doing business with you again.

May 13,2024I hate leaving bad reviews but I was very excited for my lawn moss and was terribly disappointed when I (finally) received it - it took a good month to get here. The box was full of mixed varieties of moss, not just the one that I ordered. It was full of leaves and sticks and debris that I had to remove by hand, which was very tedious. A lot of it was already brown and thin. The actual lawn moss that I ordered was beautiful, but it was a small fraction of the box. Most of it was unusable. I tried to put it down, but it was already on its last leg and did not make it. If I had received what I ordered, I would be giving it 5 stars but there was barely any of that in there. The majority of the moss was a mess. A lot of money spent, a long wait, and a big disappointment. I am hoping others have more success than I did.

May 13,2024It's too early to rate the ferns, although one Christmas fern is starting to pop up, as is one of the Fiddlestick ferns. My rating is low because the incentive to buy sets of ferns was the BOGO; two were charged full price. I did not catch this until I had paid; I immediately tried to contact your site but never received acknowledgment from them.

May 11,2024I was very disappointed when I received 3 dormant Maximilian Sunflower plants, and not live plants. If I had known that the plants would be dormant I wouldn’t have paid for them.

May 11,2024The quality appears to be good and received everything I ordered, but estimated time was longer than expected with no communications until it was ready to be shipped. I ordered during the busy time but a similar order from another company two weeks later arrived 2 days after this order, so be patient.

May 10,2024I received my shipment on Friday May 3rd. I ordered a white oak and 4 dogwoods. The white oak is split into 2 trucks right at the root system instead of a single trunk tree. I sent an email immediately with no response for almost a week. I have also tried to call the number that was in the box several times with no answer. Very frustrating as I want a single trunk tree that will grow up to be a nice strong tree.
