61 year-old Nursery: trees, shrubs, perennials, moss, ferns and natives at online-low grower prices. Ships to all states.
My order was delivered in timely manner. Website is informative. When I emailed with a question it was answered quickly. Plants appeared healthy and fresh.
Ordered live sphagnum moss. It took a little while to arrive, but it was super healthy and just what I needed. Note it's not super clean -- there are leaves, other seedlings, and lots of isopods -- but it's very cheap for how much you get. Would order again!
Although I expected bare root plants, they arrived with barely a root. They were like seedlings. Tiny little shriveled plants. We planted them but I honestly don't have much hope that they will grow. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I had such high hopes to add these plants to my butterfly garden and to be able to host the monarchs but I just don't think that's going to happen. I wish I had nicer things to say. When I emailed customer service to ask when my order would be shipped, I did get a nice reply so I do appreciate that. I'm just so disappointed in the plants.
The only thing is my order that was marked what it was, was the plum trees. Roots were not kept moist. I don't know if they will live or not.
The delivery was very quick (4 days including weekend, and the plants had lots of roots. (There was even an extra plant.) The plants were still damp!! Thank you.
Ordered at very beginning of may and it took four weeks to ship. Was told it would arrive in two weeks. When they finally arrived everything looked dead.
The plants I received seem to be in excellent health. I'm a newbie, but I think I handled the planting of these bare root plants pretty well, especially thanks to the videos that Tennessee Nursery has to show you how to plant properly. I am definitely excited that I received some extra of each type that I ordered :D I have already started to add more to my cart for fall planting!
Really quick response time and super friendly!! š I will definitely be shopping here again!
My plants arrived DOA, and was told that they are dormant. Buyer beware, you see pretty flowers on their website. But, you will receive limp almost lifeless stems, with some roots. This makes no sense, that i should wait for them to come back next season. If they revive, it would be a miracle. And why should I have to wait. When I could go to any other nursery and pick fresh healthy flowers, for the same price. Or start from seed, which still would be faster and cheaper. I would have more flowers and they wouldn't look like dead weeds from a field.
It took over a month and several emails to customer service to get my order complete. I wonāt ever use them again.
Plants are healthy, beautiful! Prompt notification of delivery. Topnotch!
Great value on these snowball bushes. Sri Ed in a timely manner and well packed
TN Nursery was my lesson on ordering plants online. Definitely do not recommend. We just moved to our first home and weāre trying to plant our backyard. I thought I found a reputable nursery with good prices on the plants we wanted but itās a total scam. We did receive a shipment from them but it was all wrong⦠not a single plant we ordered was shipped to us. It was all cheap fillers we never wanted. I contacted customer service and they asked for pictures. After I sent them they replied āforwarded this to our team for assessment. If it's confirmed, we're happy to file a warranty claim and issue store credit.ā I donāt want a store credit, I want a refund or the plants I ordered. If I had read the many reviews on other sites, I never would have ordered from TN Nursery. I hope by posting this it saves other people trying to create their home the difficulty of being taken advantage of. They made us firm believers in our local nurseries!
I waited several weeks to give a review. First, mostly my fault, I didnāt pay close enough attention when I ordered. I ordered 10 Swamp milkweed. I usually order from another place. I have grown Swamp milkweed and raised Monarchs for a couple of years. It was taking a while so I emailed Tennessee nursery and told them I needed them for caterpillars I was raising and was running out of milkweed. They knew then that 10 roots in a paper bag was not what I wanted. So anyway I got the roots, planted 4 in pots and 6 in various places in beds and watered them regularly. 2 plants came up in the pots and two in the ground. Still not sure what they are but they donāt appear at all like swamp milkweed. Now I have grown milkweed from seed which is not super easy. I have Tropical, which needs phasing out. I have lots of Swamp. I have Butterfly, Whorled, Polk and Aquatic Milkweed. These plants leaves and stalk resemble none of those. Time will tell.
The website is easy to navigate, and my plants arrived quickly.
It takes forever to get the purchase shipped and to get a confirmation of shipment.
Great Love what I got. Iām so surprised on all the paperwork in the box, you didnāt add your company name and info. Anyway, the info you sent was great! Thought the milkweed didnāt make itā¦..I was wrong.
I have not received my order.
Plants arrived but some in bad condition with a dead leaves. Very small plugs, had expected larger for price.
