Sep 16,2023Having not moved house for over 30 years you become amazed at how much “stuff” you accumulate. Though you spend time thinning it out prior to moving it still seems an awful lot. To complicate matters we had to move out before our new build was complete. So we had to put virtually all our stuff in storage. We initially had an online consultation, using my phones camera to show what was to be moved. TFL were able to give a quote based on this viewing. With both of us in our 60s we also went for their packing service which was worth every penny. The move out was done over two days , one container on each day. The team were friendly, efficient, professional and allayed any fears we might have had about getting large pieces of furniture out of the house. Boxes were marked up and suddenly it was over and stuff was on its way to storage. When the time came to move in to our new house, the same familiar faces appeared and were as friendly, efficient and professional as our previous encounter. The containers were duly emptied into the appropriate rooms and the furniture was duly reassembled. As much as anything can take the stress out of moving TFL did and I can’t thank them enough for that. From a practical point of view I found their pricing extremely competitive against several other companies I researched

Sep 13,2023From first visit to provide a quote through to finally taking delivery of the contents of our three bed house we could not have been more pleased with the service provided by TFM. Our furniture was in storage for four months and I must admit to worrying it may have been affected in some way, maybe a musty smell or warped wood etc. I am delighted to say everything was returned to us just as it was when it went into the container and sealed in front of us. Such a relief. The two young men who came to ‘remove’ our belongings were amazing, polite, respectful and super efficient, it only took them 2 hours. Similarly on delivering our furniture to our new home we were pleased to see the same two guys plus one other and, again, the same efficient service was provided. A follow up call after we had been in our new home a few days was a nice touch. Would not hesitate to use TFM again and would highly recommend them to anyone requiring this type of service.

Difficult situation moving my Mums belongings from her previous residence to storage while she is in respite care. They have been understanding, helpful, respectful, considerate and so kind. On the day they were efficient and went over and above to help us. Thank you to all of you at TFM. Would recommend them 100%

The entire team was not only friendly but also incredibly efficient and helpful throughout the entire process. They took great care of our belongings and ensured everything was handled well, including our vintage piano, which managed to stay in tune through the process! I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable packers and movers. The quote was quick and easy, and the admin staff were friendly on the phone and communicated well throughout the whole move. They even came back a few days later on request to pick up all of our old cardboard. Thank you for an amazing job!

Ralph was extremely understanding and helpful and had the patience of a Saint. Josh and Nick who undertook the removal were equally helpful, courteous and considerate. TFM are certainly most worthy of recommendation.

Jul 23,2023Last week TFM moved us from Essex to Hampshire over 2 days. I highly recommend this company. From start to finish everything was handled professionally. From Josh's original visit to look at our house and discuss our removal needs, to telephone discussions with Ralph, to the packing and move dates themselves, everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. When the packing team, Josh, Adam, Stats and Jamie arrived it was like a weight being lifted off my shoulders. I was so stressed but as soon as they arrived everything happened so quickly and efficiently we could sit back (literally in garden in the sun!) and let them get on with it all. We had booked a fragile/kitchen pack, as we have alot of breakables. Our furniture and belongings were handled with care and packed extremely well. The next day the last minute items and garden plants were quickly loaded onto a smaller truck and we all headed south. There was a stressful period on arrival due to a delay in our solicitor completing but once we had access to the house Adam, Jamie, Stats and Nic unpacked (at times in torrential rain) extremely quickly and placed everything in our new house where requested. The whole team were amazing, friendly, and so, so helpful at all times, I cannot recommend them enough. Judy & Stuart Woosnam
