Mar 09,2024Maybe it’s because there are a lot of content to be presented, but I felt that the examples were not explored enough and practicing only with peers I don’t know if we are applying the concepts in the right way. Example: in my breakout room, my peer was not able to engage with the exercise and there is not space for reviewing our experience with the practice. Seeing the “teacher” applying the methods with the main room could be good guidance and a better learning experience. I feel that TCA is an online course more than a personal approach/care.

Mar 08,2024Sarah Bramall is a great tutor! The online learning was easy to consume, and whilst it is intense, I felt part of a big community and that we were there to support each other. There was plenty of opportunity to listen to audience members as well as the tutor and the break out groups are always fun!

Mar 07,2024Eye opening experience. I participated in my first online module and I was able to connect with so many people. The module was informative and the facilitator answered everyone's questions in depth. I loved it that it was interactive and pushes you out of your comfort zone. All and all a great first experience.

Mar 05,2024The Practicalities of Coaching in Education was my final accelerator training session of the twelve I have taken part in, across two diplomas with TCA, and it was a brilliant way to wrap up that aspect of my training. Rebecca Daniel made the training fun, engaging, inspiring and I finished the training feeling so much more prepared and capable, as I venture out in to coaching in schools - Thank you Rebecca and TCA for being awesome at what you do!

Mar 04,2024Some useful points such as thinking about people as different rather than difficult when they have very different preferences to you. Good opportunity to reflect on the ways people behave and how this might be relevant to me as a coach and building rapport (not judging). The course started at 9am and the introductions took until 9.45 which felt like a huge waste of my precious weekend. I'm here to learn but it was just too slow and I was thinking "just get on with it!". The pace improved as the day went on.
