Everything went like clockwork and they also ensured we knew details about what to do in the instance of a power cut etc. We're so pleased we had it done, and chose a competent and trustworthy firm to do it!

The installation team were good and although there was a slight miscommunication over a piece of fascia that should have been included but had been missed off the final order, this was quickly rectified and was subsequently fitted on a separate visit at no cost to me. I've already recommended this company to a friend who has ordered the same garage door as I purchased.

Dec 19,2018Dealing with the sales team was excellent - they were able to offer the product I needed at a highly competitive price for delivery on the day I needed. Jessica was especially helpful and polite throughout. Sadly on the delivery day the two installers were surly and disagreeable - they made no attempt to be polite or professional and when we realised the builder had made an error which would have taken 10 minutes to fix and allow a better fit of the door, got aggressive, stating that they had already installed 4 doors today and had another 8 to do. My builder was shocked at their attitude and had to perform a bodge fix to ensure the door fitted flush afterwards.

They even swept the whole of the garage afterwards, which was an unexpected bonus. Quality door and surround everything was what we had expected.

However, i didn't know anyone who had had their garage doors replaced, so I had to trust my instinct. I chose the The Garage Door Centre, firstly because their website was informative and made me feel not only that their product would be good but equally important that they would provide a personal service. I was not disappointed! The entire team at the GDC were friendly, helpful and professional: the person who dealt with my initial enquiry, the surveyor who came to measure up and quote and finally the installation team. I am delighted with the result, a garage door which looks smart, operates smoothly and quietly, is secure and snug fitting and which i am sure will have paid for itself in adding value to our house. I bore my wife by repeatedly commenting. "Spending money on those doors was one of the best purchases i have made!"
