Jun 14,2022The editor I used was horrible. I found a lot of mistkes when I received the final work. The writer was OK but the format she used wasn't approved my Amazon. What a freaking waste of my time and money. I don't recommend The Urbans Writers. There are better sites.

Jun 14,2022There were quite a few delays for one reason or another - usually not the fault of TUW. Also The files I ended up with were not formatted for the size I requested. The writing quality was excellent though and I would be happy to use them again.

Very responsive to changes and quick turnaround times. Also good to have a support team to call upon if needed, who responded and provided assistance quickly. I will definitely use the services again.

Jun 14,2022I've worked with The Urban Writers a lot during the past few years. I've had both good and bad experiences (most of them good). What I really like about the company is that their customer support is always friendly and happy to you help you. If you're looking for a talented writer and you've decided to go with a ghostwriting company instead of hiring a writer directly then The Urban Writers is the company for you. I'm rating TUW 5 out of 5 stars but they can still improve in many ways. However, compared to other ghostwriting companies, TUW is by far the best one. I would rate the other ghostwriting companies I've worked with as 1's and 2's. So in conclusion, should you work with The Urban Writers? YES!

Jun 14,2022Their were so many errors i had to have the "editor" re-edit it. Which thereafter there were still many punctuation and grammatical errors afterward. I had hundreds of revisions i asked the writer to rewrite. Im still currently in the editing process of my final draft at this moment because my book wasn't written properly. Horrible experience

Jun 14,2022I have a few irons in the fire now and am meeting multiple gig workers. Some good experiences and good help from admin. I only can really compare my experiences here to offline artistic collaborations and fiverr gigs. In all cases prior to TUW, it is normally expected that heavy discussion will occur at the outset prior to starting a gig. But getting gig workers to engage in that reasonable convo *upfront* is proving exceedingly difficult. When I consider the incentive to move buyers up the chain of revision packages, it is hard not to think it is by design. Still there are some good people at work in TUW, and they deserve 5 stars not 3. The problems are with 1. The platform being just awful - unintuitive to work with i.e. multilink navigability/design is greatly diminished and I find myself needing too many admin interventions. This is unfortunate as I am experiencing there are really good people on admin who are helping get over limitations. This is all well and good but for what buyers are charged for gigs this should be better (easier to guess when unaided). 2. It's like pulling teeth to get gig workers to talk prior to accepting a gig. This is absolutely not problem on fiverr and other platforms. 3. Scope expansion. Sometimes it happens that you and a seller are really hitting it off and you want to offer them work in scope-adjacent areas. No room for tipping means whole new gig has to be created. Make room for tips for explicitly this purpose. Still I'm hopeful that TUW will rise to the occasion with its platform, as they have so often with great customer service

Jun 14,2022This process was easy, fun and so incredibly professional from start to finish. My writer knew exactly what I needed my book to sound like and made it happen for me - super thankful. The editors were knowledgeable, smart and helped me through this process too. I was actually recommended to use another company for my books who was suppose to be better than T.U.W however I used both simultaneously out of curiosity. I ended up being very unhappy and upset with the other recommended ghost writing company while T.U.W made this new process easy, fun and stress free - I was incredibly grateful. And on my next book, I'll definitely be moving forward with T.U.W without question.

Jun 14,2022the website is very convoluted, it seems like there could be a better way to manage projects. I have doubts about how good some of the writers are, and the graphic designer didn't listen to me about the time period, or what I wanted on the cover. She just looked for free images and asked if I liked them. But the customer service does answer questions asap.
