The Timeless Chesterfields brand is owned and operated by Saxon Furniture Ltd, a family run, British company who have been expertly hand-crafting Chesterfield leather and fabric furniture for 40 years.
The success of the company can be attributed to the dedication and ethos of producing the finest Chesterfields in the country without exception. Unlike these companies, we hand-craft all our own designs in our workshop in Lancashire by our very own time-served upholsterers, seamstresses and cutters, many of whom have grown up with the business.
As a company, we believe in being completely open about how our products are crafted and what materials we use. So much so that we invite you to come along personally to watch the expert skills and eye for detail of our master craftsmen first hand via our unique viewing gallery in our showroom. It's an honesty that has served us well for 40 years and is evident not only in the workshop but across the company from, the showroom staff to customer services to the delivery team to our support staff. Oct 11,2017ABSOLUTELY SUPERB !!!!! We decided that we wanted to order a Chesterfield suite but living in Spain we were a bit worried that we would have some difficulties.....How wrong we were. From start to finish the process was made easy by the wonderful staff at Saxon. When we decided on the type of leather for our suite we were advised that as we had cats and dogs the one we had decided on would not stand up to the physical treatment it would receive, so we discussed the problem at length and with Saxon´s help chose another type. After that the ordering went as smooth as silk, once again thanks to the staff at Saxon. We were kept informed constantly about the progress of our order and even given a shipping date to Spain. When the suite was delivered to us by the local Spanish courier service we were so impressed by the packaging. Each item was wrapped in huge amounts of large bubble wrap then enclosed in industrial strength thick cardboard containers. When we unpacked the suite...WOW...the quality surpassed all of our expectations.....we were over the moon with it. All we can say is that if you are thinking about ordering your suite from Saxon...GO FOR IT !!!!! you will not be disappointed. Thank you Saxon and a special mention must be given to Pauline Rushton and Janette Turnbull whose help and advice made the whole process totally stress free.

Sep 21,2017Wow what service, friendliness and helpfulness. We have been absolutely delighted with Saxons, particularly Janette and Pauline. We wanted 3 sofas. We were advised on the type of leather to meet our needs. All questions were met with professionalism and an understanding of the leather. The sofas arrived at our house in France with all transport arrangements made by Saxon. The sofas themselves are top quality. We chose a distressed look in a chocolate colour and have not been disappointed. The leather is of high quality to meet our needs and that of two young dogs and the visiting of 6 grandchildren. The design and comfort are also excellent and we were amazed by the general sturdiness. An outstanding job all round, thank you so much Saxon.

Ordering from Europe without having had a chance to see their furniture in person, I did so mostly based on the reviews I read on this site and took quite a chance doing so. However, no regrets here. All communication and customer service was simply exemplary, and the sofas themselves when they arrived were simply exquisite. One further thing to note is that we foolishly ordered the wrong feet for our sofas and when I mentioned this to Saxon they immediately offered to send us alternative feet free of charge. Can't recommend enough, feel free to buy with 100% confidence.

Sep 08,2017First class from start to finish. Visiting the showroom was a very pleasant experience with no sales pressure at all. The staff were on hand if required to answer any queries but did not follow us around the store. Timeous delivery and courteous delivery staff. Excellent product which I expect to enjoy for many years to come.

Having lived overseas for many years we had specific ideas about what we wanted for a living room sofa and Timeless Chesterfields came through in spades! The customer service was outstanding and everything was handled with efficiency. Getting the coach delivered on a small lane was a bit tricky, but in the end it all worked out! We were kept up to speed with the progress of our sofa from start to finish, sent leather samples in advance, and samples from the actual leather that would be going in to our sofa to approve before it was used. The delivery drivers were also outstanding; very careful and considerate and even called ahead to offer delivery a day early. Above all, the sofa is beautiful and at a very reasonable price.

Aug 14,2017To be honest, I live in Miami and was hesitant about ordering furniture from overseas, but Pauline made everything so easy, and the footstools came out so beautifully, that I would definitely order from them again. I needed the stools a little higher, they adjusted them without charge. They sent samples of the studs and leather to make sure that I loved everything, and then the footstools arrived crated so sturdily that they arrived in perfect condition, and they're beautiful! The leather is soft and beautiful and the tufts are precise and just what you'd want from authentic english chesterfield furniture. The next time I need any beautiful Chesterfield furniture I will order from them. Great job!!

Aug 07,2017Comfort custom made ! It is mentioned as "bespoke" by Saxon Furniture. The traditional Timeless Chesterfield we received last week in France, after a short two months' wait, is absolutely perfect - It replaces advantageously our old beautiful antique Grovesnor sofa. The advice and guidance provided in amples e-mail exchanges by Timeless Chesterfield and Saxon Furniture was precise, always courteous and to the point - It also led us to request a change in the number of cushions during the fabrication process, a late decision on our part which did not cause any problem. We are now comfortably settled in our beautiful old English chestnut sofa and loving every minute of it - Thank you !!!!

Jun 30,2017I just received two beautiful sofas made by Timeless Chesterfields. We live in sunny Arizona, USA and although the delivery time was long i.e. nearly four months, it was exactly as indicated. The quality of the sofas were as advertised and absolutely beautiful. Even though they had to be shipped across the "pond" and most of the way across the USA, the cost was actually slightly less than what furniture stores were asking locally and the quality was by far ahead of those that were the available here (that were probably made in the orient and didn't have the same grade of leather). In short, we are extremely well pleased with the product and couldn't ask for anything better.
