The Timeless Chesterfields brand is owned and operated by Saxon Furniture Ltd, a family run, British company who have been expertly hand-crafting Chesterfield leather and fabric furniture for 40 years.
The success of the company can be attributed to the dedication and ethos of producing the finest Chesterfields in the country without exception. Unlike these companies, we hand-craft all our own designs in our workshop in Lancashire by our very own time-served upholsterers, seamstresses and cutters, many of whom have grown up with the business.
As a company, we believe in being completely open about how our products are crafted and what materials we use. So much so that we invite you to come along personally to watch the expert skills and eye for detail of our master craftsmen first hand via our unique viewing gallery in our showroom. It's an honesty that has served us well for 40 years and is evident not only in the workshop but across the company from, the showroom staff to customer services to the delivery team to our support staff. We are adamant that you will not encounter a more professional but friendly and genuine sofa buying experience in the UK.

Dec 10,20152nd UPDATE - Our sofas have been returned. The collection and return occurred exactly as promised by Saxon and the work done has been faultless and again as discussed and agreed. We once again have a product to be proud of. Thank you for sorting this out. UPDATE - After posting this review I was contacted by the MD of Saxon. It seems that in fact they do care and were genuinely concerned tht I felt it necessary to write my review. After a very amicable and constructuve conversation mutully acceptable was forwrd to resolve the issues was reached. The offer to collect, recover and return the sofas was made by the MD without prompting. I will update again once the work has been carried out. Thank you Saxon. Bought 2 white handmade chesterfields and also purchased their insurance backed warranty against marks and accidental damage which promised to repair or replace any damaged part. Turns out that there are so many exclusions in the small print that you get after the sofas have been delivered that you best not sit down or put a cushion of the furniture till you have read them all. After you have you probably need to send them back because dye transfer from anything other than jeans, newspaper or belts is NOT covered. Saxon don't seem to care because it turns out according to the Financial Ombudsman they are NOT even an insurance agent for UK General Insurance (the Underwriters) who also don't care because anything other than jeans, belts and newspapers are not covered by the "peace of Mind" "any eventuality" policy that you bought. £2500 worth of sofas ruined!

I was a little nervous ordering furniture from overseas, but Janette and Diane assured me that it would be an easy process....and they were right! They arrived safe and sound to the USA. The team at Timeless Chesterfields was very helpful. Janette took us to the workshop, which I loved seeing the sofas being made. They truly are handcrafted in the UK. These are sofas that will last for many years to come and be handed down to your children.

Sep 14,2015If I had a complaint it would be the annoying habit of Saxon's staff e-mailing me in Portugal and asking me to telephone them. One word for it: "cheap". They should pick up the telephone themselves or say what they want in the e-mail. (score 9/10) In contrast, the two Chesterfields were perfect in every way. (score 10/10) The Portuguese driver who delivered our shipment from Porto was incredibly helpful and told us to leave everything to him. He was a credit to his company. (score 10/10)

Aug 29,2015Here are some facts: 1. They went extra mile customizing sofa specification across all dimensions in order to make it a perfect fit. 2. Special order upholstery material out of their range was used without additional charge or lead time increase. 3. It did not feel like 5000+ mile distance between Saxon and Southern California. Air mail samples took 4-5 days. 4. They offered air freight for about 8% more than by sea, cutting delivery time from 50 to 4 days. 5. The final product was even better than expected, exceptionally neat and inviting.

Delivery was on time and the sofa was perfect, we've had the sofa for a couple of months and still so happy with it. We wont hesitate to order additional furniture in the future
