Jan 17,2023Decent specialised online shop with a good variety of tools and competitive prices. I've used the shop two times, both of which unfortunately there were some minor things that put me off. The first time I ordered, I chose Tooled-Up in order to support an independent retailer and despite the fact that Amazon had the same product at a similar (if not lower) price. The item's availability when I placed the order was marked as "despatched in 5 days" so when those passed I got in touch to ask for an update since my order's status hadn't been changed during the week that had passed. My query was answered the same day and I was informed that the order will leave their warehouse the same day which was indeed the case. The strange thing is that when I received the order it was in an Amazon box!! I don't know much about retails but if I wanted to get the items from Amazon I would have just ordered from there and probably get them sooner. The more recent experience was more smooth and the order was shipped quickly. However, judging from the condition of the item's packaging and its inside I suspect that the box has been opened. Not something I can prove unfortunately, or even know for sure whether the item had been actually used, but let's just say that if there was free return shipping I would have certainly send it back based on that uncertainty. I'll probably use the shop again if the prices are comparable to other shops but I won't be surprised if the experience isn't perfect once again.

Dec 20,2022Ordered item 10th Dec. 1st DHL sent to wrong address.2nd they had a completely different post code.3rd parcel sent to DHL hub. 4th never sent me a pick-up code.5th eventually sent me a code. Called at hub shop keeper tells me code is wrong. 6th contacted retailers to request DHL to return parcel. Totally pathetic service. Will never use again

Dec 06,2022In spite of mail disruptions my Torx screwdriver arrived in good time, and I was happy with the product. I will keep Tooled-up in my list of favourite websites, so I can use them again. I also enjoyed their complimentary accompanying tool quiz sheet.

Jan 18,2023Got exactly what I wanted But order placed on weds 4th Jan, despatch confirmed on the 12th. To me that's slow. No info on any delays provided. I would have expected a top mail order company to be more efficient.
