This is my second purchase from trade depot, looking forward to doing their bathroom at an affordable price. Outstanding service and communication via email and text from start to finish. Highly recommended!!

Jan 16,2025I Bought Fridge Freezer on Boxing Day and they promise to deliver with in 4 to 5 days. i call them after 10 days they said is out of stock and need to wait another week to dispatch from Christchurch. After 3 weeks not deliver yet, I did call them again customer service said that I have to wait another 1 or 2 weeks or cancel my order. I am really disappointed.

The savings made a significant difference during my kitchen and bathroom renovations. Their competitive pricing, coupled with on-time delivery, made the experience seamless and impressive. Regretfully, their absence in Wellington has reduced competition among stores, leaving customers with fewer affordable options. I strongly encourage Trade Depot to consider opening a store in Wellington to bring true competition to the market. There is ample space available right across from Bunnings in Lyall Bay, which would be an ideal location. Wellingtonians would greatly benefit from your presence, and it’s time to give local retailers a reason to compete! The ideal location would be on Tory Street, next to Noeleeming, where The Warehouse is moving out shortly. This spot is centrally located, making it convenient for shoppers, with ample parking space. Another great option could be the area right across from Bunnings in Lyall Bay, which also offers excellent accessibility and parking facilities."Harish Patel Wellington

Jan 13,2025CONS: After searching the website for a replacement fridge and putting one in the cart, received several follow up emails wanting us to follow through with purchase. Good marketing but sometimes a little unnecessary as as a grown adult can make own decision whether to purchase or not. PROS: As the chosen item was in the cart for a week, a follow up email was received announcing that the item was reduced in price. This was sufficient to inspire the purchase. Follow up communication was excellent as was the delivery information. I was notified on the day when to expect arrival and was able to meet delivery driver on site. Overall, good experience. Time will tell whether the product lives up to expectations.

Jan 13,2025Bought a cooktop 14 months ago with a 24mth warranty. 1 ring failed and from reading other reviews i was expecting a nightmare to get it fixed. The experience was the opposite, lots of communication and job done within 3 working days.

Jan 12,2025Still waiting on our Gas Cook Top. 2 weeks in now, we live in the Coromandel… not far from Auckland. Were told last Saturday that we missed the delivery driver at 8.30pm. I phoned Trade depot and told them that message was BS as we were home and have security cameras. Was told by help desk we would have to wait until the following Saturday for next delivery window. That has now passed, phoned again to be informed delivery was only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. DONT’T BUY ANYTHING from these guys …. There shipping app doesn’t change but there delivery stories do every time you call!

Jan 11,2025brought a washing machine 0n 29/12/2024. now i appreciate that delivery times would be pushed out with public holidays. trade depot mention up to 10 days. well we are at 13 days and was told it would arrive today between 5 and 6pm. i thought that seemed odd on a Saturday delivery but foolish me believed her. well obviously it isn't here. there has been no communication from them. i am messaging them daily and still nothing. i should have read the reviews before wasting my time and money on them. we were going to use them for our bathroom reno but will not be now. i think i will try and get my money back thru afterpay. and buy a washing machine from someone else.
