Oct 14,2022Brought a fridge for my father on the 1th September 2022. Arrived damaged. They requested photos of the damaged part, which we took. They then order and invoiced the wrong part which we still haven't received. Went into a branch on the 9th October to try and sort this out and was told they would order a part and I could pick it up on Monday from their Otahuhu parts department. Monday was informed they don't have the part and it needs to come from Hamilton. Now Friday no one answers emails or phone. Receive invoice for the spare part again the wrong part. So one month down the track my 87 year old father still has a faulty fridge which is freezing everything up and has resorted to buying a new fridge from somewhere else. Recommend you never buy anything from here. Problem on going finally got them to admit there was a problem and have now had them uplift the fridge on the 27th of October. Got an email on the 28th to say a refund had been approved allow 1-4 working days. Now the 11 November and haven't seen a thing. Have now log queries via email and phone still nothing on hold now for an hour first in queue says it all.

Oct 11,2022This should be a NO STAR RATING .On 1st October our Vogue Oven stopped heating on the bottom bake element ,as the oven is just over 18months old and has a 24 month warranty ,I phoned trade depot about this after waiting in a que for half an hour I was then told I would need to fill out a warranty claim on line which I did, according to the Open or Pending section at the help centre this job was Created by a technician (I was told she is a technician by Robert one of their team) by the name of Bella .This job is still after 11 days sitting in their Being Processed status. Now after waiting 50 minutes to talk to someone (WHY DO THEY NOT HAVE AN 0800 like all other businesses that trade online) I explained to Robert that I had been waiting since 1/10/22 and had phoned yesterday and was told that a technician would be sent out within 24hours this has not happened ,now speaking with Robert who was told to phone the technician in our area and arrange for a callout ,while I am on the phone with another call he leave s me a message asking if the fan and the lights were working on the oven which of course they are (why wasn't that question asked initially) still no mention he had spoken to a technician in our area ,he did say he was sending an email which i could reply to that was 20 minutes ago and still nothing . In summary I am really surprised this business is still operating and a warning to all those that have given good reviews when they have purchased wait until something goes wrong and see how long it takes to respond ,once they have hooked you say goodbye to the money and watch as you loose more money on the mobile phone as you chalk up hours of call time for nothing. This is an ongoing saga and is the short version .When I asked to speak with the manager I was declined . Next stop Consumer and or Fair go

Oct 10,2022We were served by a helpful sales representative Parmveer Chaulia. He was extremely patient, friendly and helped us to choose the right products for our bathroom. He made sure that we were happy with the product before we purchased it. If the product that we wanted was not available he suggested other products that were equally as good or products that were better. He went out of his way to help us and meet our expectation. Thank million for your wonderful service.

Oct 07,2022We had a great experience at Trade Depot in Chch. Staff, particularly Sachin but also Owen, were extremely responsive, and kept returning to us with further information on specs, etc. when we queried them. They worked with us to find the best deal we could have in purchasing a high-end built-in oven and microwave. Highly recommend this shop based on the customer service. We have not yet received the products.

Oct 01,2022NO STAR rating is available for selection. On 22 May I was sold a washer, dryer and stacker unit (order x2164973). The stacker unit did not fit the machine. I queried this and was given the run around. After numerous phone calls and emails with promises to have the unit collected and my money refunded, Trade Depo just stopped responding to me in July. After querying this again on the website early September, I received another apology email with promises of a collection and refund and again I am waiting for these promises to be fulfilled. This is by far the worst after sales service I have ever experienced. I am hoping nothing goes wrong with either the washer or dryer because if Trade Depo can not honor a $159 refund there is absolutely no way they will honor a big refund! This query is now more than 4 months old.

Sep 24,2022We are currently dealing with Trade Depot and they are the worst company I have ever dealt with, the customer service is appalling and very much focused on avoiding their responsibilities at all costs. AVOID TRADE DEPOT AT ALLS COSTS!! If it seems to good to be true, it probably is and in this case, absolutely!! We brought a dishwasher 3 weeks ago and it literally went for 2 minutes. We’ve tried numerous times to get support and the people we’ve spoken are purely focused on us being wrong and them being write and us being responsible for the costs of getting it sorted out. What a bunch of rip offs. I just want my money back so I can go elsewhere.

Sep 21,2022Should be 0 Stars!! Absolutely appalling !!! One of the worst , if not the worst company Iv ever dealt with in the trade!!!!. Please for your own sanity , just buy the stuff from Mitre 10 or some other store!!!! What you will save on Trade Depot just simply is not worth the hassle!!! Complete bathroom ordered for client, Cistern missing, four week later still not arrived, I just replaced the whole lot with new one from Mitre 10 , Its cost me more than what the job was worth, Thanks Trade Depot!!!!!!!!

Not pushy but able to take us though the stock available, Amitp was able to give assurance by showing us through the complete range of bathroom furniture and fittings to enable us to make the right choices for our needs. We left the store feeling truly valued customers. Thankyou Amitp.

Sep 14,2022Purchased an oven, rangehood, induction stove and dishwasher from trade depot. First the guy in the store stuffed up the paperwork and instead of all being delivered at a later date I had to take one home myself on the day. Then half of the delivery came 2 weeks early. The problem here was the old owner (with dementia) was still living in the property and my delivery clearly stated after a certain date so we didn’t disturb her. So half of it was delivered to my old house where I then had to store and move it to my new house by myself. Once the rest arrived one of the boxes was damaged but looked like it was only the box. I should have unboxed everything but my kitchen cabinets were delayed for 3 months due to covid. Once I finally got my kitchen installed we unboxed everything to find the rangehood damaged. I’ve tried to call with no answer and emailed twice with no response. Still waiting for a reply this week to my latest follow up. Genuinely terrible service from start to finish. I never write bad reviews but this experience is/was awful and so much more stressful than it should have been. Purchasing my first kitchen should have been exciting but trade depot made it anything but that. Disappointing

Sep 13,2022I had the worst experience with the lack of coordination with the Trade depot team. I have been advised to purchase the washer/dryer machine 2 weeks in advance to ensure I have the item delivered on time when I move into my new place. Paid in full, arranged time set. Comes that day... nothing came, no phone call, I called, and apparently, they are out of stock. But where was the item that I brought and secured? They won't even admit they oversold the item, no plan B for the inconvinice that they cost. Just left me hanging hoping it will come in a few days. I called every single day for a week to follow up and I was promised every day they will call back to inform me. So far... no promise has been kept. I had completely lost any trust in their capability on delivery, so I decided to get a refund (no compensation for their breaking the contract and the extra cost they induced due to their problematic system). I will never buy anything from them and never will recommend any of my friends and family to buy from them either. Suppose you are still considering purchasing from them. Be very waring for disappointment. The response from Trade depot posted below is not true. Please do not find excuses for the lack of ability to honour the contract. And I did not receive any compensation and do not wish to receive compensation for store coupons either.

Sep 11,2022Hi, Just letting you know of my experiences of owning Midea and Vogue appliances. Wouldnt be without Air Fryer, love this and would be used at least every second day. Vac Stick, keep filter clean and foot, 3 years old and used daily, have brought another one, love the ease of using them. Washing machine Inverter 10 kg and Vogue 8kg heat pump dryer combo, brilliant, used daily, clothes turn out very clean. Newest addition, Midea fridge freezer H 169 W 75, best buy ever, space, shelving distribution, temperature, this appliance is number one. Thank you Trade Depot. Cherie Hooper

Sep 08,2022Ordered a combo deal washing machine and dryer the front loader vouge is horried its making noise really loud sqeling noise they got tec guy come out he was going to source a new motor but have not herd when its going to be replaced or fixed so im stuck with this horrible noise i have filled out warranty forms done all my stuff all i whant is my money back or a new washing machine im pritty upset i need one its a month old and f it slef feeling like no human gives a poo

Sep 06,2022Hi went into trade depot to buy two toilets ones I wanted were not in Stock so paid for them and put them on back order they did not arrive on said date and did not hear from trade depot so inquired when they would arrive and was told not till the November and then received an email from Preeti Dhawn to say I had taken them in July when I looked at them this company is very dishonest do not deal with them got to go out there for the forth time to try and sort it been the stressing thing I've ever experienced

Vanity top was cracked - we were aware it was too late to claim replacement so wondered if it was possible to get a new top. It was ordered and arrived two days later to the bottom of the South Island. So impressed with the service. Thank you so much.
