Couldn’t recommend Trade Skills more highly. Really friendly and helpful sales staff help you make the right booking choices. The tutor in centre (Crawley) was excellent and the online learning centre couldn’t be easier to work with. I am thoroughly enjoying the learning experience which is a far cry from my school days. Can’t wait for the next step.

Good course but a hell of a lot to take in, in such a short period should probably be a extra week long on step one and I think you would have it down alot better

2020 has been a different year to say the least. Having been left in the lurch and not sure what to do next, I explored several career change options. I eventually settled with going down the route of becoming an electrician. The roadmap and the flexibility of studying and training with TradeSkills4U has allowed me to build and develop a passion for electrical work. They have helped to equip me with the knowledge, skills and qualifications I need to begin working in the electrical industry along side other to begin gaining valuable experience. However, to really get the most from the training you need to be willing to work hard (and smart) to gain experience alongside the training to really cement and build on the skills and training they deliver to you. It’s a big commitment but one that pays off if you are willing to put the work in. The teaching is superb with the tutors possessing a great amount of knowledge and experience in the electrical field. This has helped to solidify the understanding of theory and relate it to real world scenarios. The customer services team are very helpful and prompt in responding to phone calls and emails. All in all I have found my time training with TradeSkills4U to be invaluable and has opened up the door to a bright future. I look forward to continuing to train, learn and gain more experience as time goes on.

As an adult leaner with bills to pay, going through a provider like Tradeskills4u was my only real option. Being in a Trades background and having completed an apprenticeship in my younger years, I knew that route would not work for me! Been there, done that and got the T shirt springs to mind. Tradeskills4u gives adult learners the opportunity to retrain later on in life where before these types of courses, this would not have been possible. I have learnt additional skills that I have applied to launching my own Company and for therefore ill be forever grateful for Tradeskills4u and these types of courses existing.

A great experience not done any training for a few years and really felt the time was taken to make sure everything was understood . Highly recommend trade skills 4u for any level of training they really put you at ease and encourage and support you through the whole process of learning and taking the exams.

New to the industry, I have researched a number of training establishments, it is value for money and may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for!

Well! What can I say! Wanted to get into electrics, and decided on TradeSkills4U to help me achieve that. Not the cheapest of all providers out there, but came across as the most professional - with national centres all working to the same programme. Indeed, I wanted to work through their Step 1 courses in the shortest time possible - and had a mix of training at the Gatwick and Coventry centres. All very friendly, professional and as an added bonus, COVID secure! It’s intense, but then I guess it’s equivalent of long college course in a matter of weeks. If you’re dedicated and want to do well, this is the training for you! I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and look forward to doing Step 2 and more in the future. Highly recommend - thank you TradeSkills4U!

Having been to tradeskills4u before( over ten years ago!) I knew what to expect. I went for the 2392 electrical initial verification course. I found that the tutors David and Scott to be very knowledgeable and their interaction with the class to be on point. Very helpful with students that had learning difficulties. Any questions that were asked were explained and broken down so all were able to understand. Very happy with the experience and will return again.

I have just completed Step 1 and I can honestly say I can’t wait to start Step 2, I researched a lot prior to booked and even attended a half day taster session before committing to the course I chose The cost of the training is great value for what you actually get m/ receive all the trainers are qualified electricians who have been out on the tools and can give you constructive feedback plus what happens in the real world I would advise anyone considering Trade Skills 4 U to go to a taster session see how it feels ask lots of questions and I can promise you that you will not look back! Thank you for you help and guidance and see you all soon Anthony Masterson

A world class training centre to become an electrician. Fantastic facilities partnered with friendly expert on hand tutors make this the place to study and train to become an electrician. A very good flexible location as well with hotels nearby due to the training centre being next to Gatwick Airport. I will be continuing my studies hear to become a qualified electrician

Booked a 3 day course and paid in full. Unfortunately I had to cancel due to my mother’s passing. The company decided to keep my deposit of £100 yet they did not express any remorse or sympathy. I was offered £100 discount if I ever booked a course with them in the future. These type of people are heartless and will stoop to the lowest levels to make a quick buck.

Completed the Advanced Domestic Installer Course at Gatwick during the pandemic. The course was really enjoyable, the tutors were very knowledgeable and the admin staff were just fantastic. The tutors had a wealth of practical knowledge. The e-learning elements were really good quality. I would have given 5 stars, but it was let down a bit but the virtual class room elements of the course. They could have been better, but I accept that this was all new due to covid, and I think they worked reasonably well. I found the course gave me very good theoretical knowledge, and pretty good practical skills, but you do need more on the job experience to be confident enough to work for yourself. I enjoyed the course so much that contrary to my original plans, I’m now going on to work towards my level 2 and 3. I would highly recommended this company.

Domestic Installer Course - Step 1 - Gatwick and Virtual - April 2021 Learnt a lot, wetted my appetite to learn more, passed the assessments and exams. This is an accelerated learning environment. To get the most from this course expect to put the effort in, both during the day and in the evening. Fellow students have a very diverse range of backgrounds and experience, and are generally well motivated as most have invested both time and money to attend. Tutors - Excellent Customer Service - Excellent Tools & Equipment - Average Physical Facilities - Average/Great Online Facilities - Average Value for money - Excellent Knowledgeable, supportive and time served tutors. Customer service both before and during the course was spot on. Hand tools and test equipment were basic but in good order. The wiring accessories were overused and the installation bays compact and very tired, but both were adequate for the job. The facilities/buildings at Gatwick are good, ranging from light industrial to commercial office environments. Parking can be limited even during COVID. Would be better if the heavy 'hammering' practical courses were kept separate from the light 'inspection and test' practical and theory courses. The exam room could be better insulated with respect to sound. You will be using more than one online platform (admin, online training, virtual class room, mock tests) all the platforms are reasonably intuitive, but there is a distinct lack of an online-forum for students for Q&A and mutual support. There are two practical assessments and three multiple choice exams. Two of the exams are not pre-booked, so you will need to book these and may have to return to the center at a later date. Top tips: Be prepared - get the course books months before your first course, read the "Electrician’s Guide to the Building Regulations" and "IET On-Site Guide", if your completely new to the subject and/or have little practical experience would also recommend the "IET Students Guide to the IET wiring regulations" and read that first. Familiarise yourself with the structure and layout of "IET Wiring Regulations", as you read the On-Site Guide lookup the cross-references to the Wiring Regulations, read and attempt to digest the information presented. Don’t worry if it some or most of it goes over your head, as you progress through the course it will all make far more sense. If you can - during the practical on-site weeks (Week 1 - Installation and Week 3 - Inspection & Testing), stay at a local hotel, that way you won't be stressed or late due to traffic, may be less distracted by life and should be able to focus on your studies.

I'm undergoing my Domestic Installer training and so far it has been a good mixture of practical workshops, taught theory and e-learning. I've managed to work the training to my availability and schedule rather than having to take a chunk of time off at once to do all 4/5 weeks. This has meant that I've changed tutors for the various weeks but all have been knowledgable and supportive at the Coventry centre.

I have had an excellent experience with TS4U so far. The teaching and facilities in centre are great and the virtual learning environment is intuitive. I would highly recommend one of their courses to anyone looking to start a career in the electrical industry.

As a beginner in the electrical industry this has been an easy to follow and well organised series of qualifications. I've enjoyed the mix of practical weeks in the centre with online learning, some of which can be conducted at your own pace, in your own time.
