Jun 07,2023From the moment you sign up to Travelteer the admin team make you feel welcome and are available whenever to answer any and all questions! The programme is well thought out and thoroughly enjoyable, but what makes the trip so special is the people. From the local people you meet on your programme, to the friends you make over the weeks, and the house coordinators, the experience is truly unique and you leave feeling like one big family. After returning home from 2 weeks in Sri Lanka I have already started planning my trip for next summer! When I arrived at the house we only had one house coordinator, Paula, who regularly went above and beyond planning evening activities and weekend trips or just giving us advice on what was fun around us, she was there to help at any hour of the day/night and truly helped make my trip what it was. In the following week we gained another house coordinator. Camila was thrown straight into the deep end and overcame any obstacles thrown her way. Her caring and friendly personality meant she fit right in and I feel so lucky to have her out there at the same time as me. She was always so positive and sharing stories of her travels! Camila would make coach trips more entertaining, nights out more fun and was a great person to have on the trip! I honestly could not recommend Travelteer more & I can’t wait to return next summer!!

Sep 01,2022I just got home from 4 weeks in Sri Lanka (3 weeks volunteering 1 week tour), it's safe to say it was the best experience of my life thus far. I couldn't reccomend Travelteer highly enough, such an amazing company with kindness, community and fun at its core💕 the coordinators (Allie, Ed, Steph and Noah) are amazing, so welcoming and can help you out with anything and everything you need They're all great at organising fun things to do with free time as well, like the river safari, trips to Galle, dance/yoga classes on the balcony etc😊 Even after just one week it already felt like home and everyone felt like family. Eerybody at Travelteer house was incredible, not a bad word to say about anything/anyone. Food was great also, accommodation was better than I expected and the awesome & rewarding volunteering was balanced with great socials and weekend/day trips. couldn't reccomend the tour highly enough either! Ed was brilliant and ensured we all had the best time possible. All love! 🇱🇰🌟❤️

I met some lifelong friends and travelled to some beautiful places, really being immersed in the food and culture of the country. Coordinators Allie, Noah, Steph and Ed made my time there feel that much more secure and enjoyable, as well as the local Travelteer family led by the absolute legend, Ruchi ! Sep 01,2022I recently stayed in Sri Lanka for 4 weeks, 3 weeks volunteering and 1 week tour. I already plan to return in the near future. The admin team are very welcoming and the community is fabulous. If you plan to join the locals for a game of football definitely bring your football boots. I definitely would recommend Travelteer to anyone seeking a well structured trip to Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

I had so much fun and met some amazing people during my stay, including the coordinators Lydia, Allie and Hannah who were great. I would also recommend doing the tour as that was a highlight on my trip especially. If you have the opportunity you should definitely volunteer with Travelteer :)

Jun 22,2022I have spent 2 months in Sri Lanka and met some of the best people ever! I'm not going to give much away. I did the marine & wildlife programme, had a blast doing lots of different things. The accomodation, transport, food, activities were all very good and enjoyable. I loved everything about it and I can't wait to go back and see people again, I've made so many friends it's unreal. I was so happy there! Going there definitely made me realise some things about myself and what I want in life (especially what environment I'd like to live in). Thank you Travelteer for making me happy! Lots of love :)

Jun 22,2022i’ve just come back from hikkaduwa and during my time over there, Hannah, Lydia and Allie were incredible. it was my first trip away from home and they made sure that i was happy and not afraid to come to them if i needed a bit of support. i treasure all the memories i made out there with them and love all 3 girls along with my other new friends very much. hopefully one day, i can go back and visit. whoever gets to experience travelteer with those 3 are some very lucky people

Jun 21,2022I had the absolute best time in Sri Lanka with these guys! Had the opportunity to plan and deliver English lessons to kids in schools and after school clubs, explore the local community and make some friends for life! There's lots of free time so when you're not volunteering be prepared to explore, there's loads to do! Would 100% recommend and am very tempted to return next year! Thank you guys! :)
