Started on the coast 2 coast tour and the best time exploring, everything was sorted for us and super easy and we had a great coordinator, CT. 2 weeks of volunteering has been a whole range of tasks to do and I really feel like I’m making a difference. The staff are all lovely in the house as well. Worth it!

Sep 11,2024Travelteer is a great company to use as a stepping stone into solo travelling. I came to Sri Lanka by myself and it was reassuring knowing that I was safe and my belongings secure in Ocean Resort (the Travelteer house). I was surprised by how easily I made friends and how close people can be on this trip. I would highly recommend this experience, the turtles are amazing and Sri Lanka is so beautiful.

Sep 08,2024Nepal Sports Development I recently volunteered through TravelTeer for 4 weeks under the sports and community development programme. The experience was amazing and everything I was informed it would be and more. I especially enjoyed teaching in the schools and building greenhouses for the local communities. The mountain village was also quite the experience bringing on challenges I never could have thought. The TravelTeer staff were excellent in helping us volunteers adjust and I’d like to give a special mention to Sam Bramley who went the extra mile with all volunteers, allowing us to have the best time out in Nepal and help us to immerse further than we ever could alone.

Sep 06,2024I did the mental health program in Sri lanka for 2 months and it was amazing! So many cool opportunities that you would never ever get to do in the UK. Coordinators Scarlett, Reece, and Alex were amazing and so helpful with everything as well! However, the volunteering on mental health doesn’t feel like volunteering as most of the time it’s you learning stuff of observing stuff which is great but you don’t feel like you’re making a difference. The accommodation is also not as described online but it’s still fine! Overall it was 100% worth it :)

Sep 05,2024I spent 2 weeks volunteering in Sri Lanka on the sports program. I really enjoyed my experience, volunteering at local schools felt like it really made an impact on the community. Everyone at the Travelteer house is very friendly and there are regular social events to help get to know people. All the coordinators are really helpful, especially Reece who was very welcoming and always answered any queries.

Sep 02,2024I spent 4 weeks in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. What an incredible experience, the people I met there are now life long friends and I made unforgettable memories. The locals are super friendly and welcoming, I would love to go back just to see them again. I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to help make a difference and wanting an adventurous trip to the mountains. Our staff member Paula was absolutely fantastic, i honestly can’t praise her enough for all the help. She made the trip what it was and I shall miss her and the other volunteers dearly. I will definitely be volunteering with Travelteer again in the future ☺️

Aug 25,2024Just finished the Coast2Coast tour in Sri Lanka and had the most amazing time ever! Experienced so much, the itinerary was incredible and so jam packed!! Alex was the best coordinator ever made the experience so much better! Our driver Nalen was incredible and I felt very safe and looked after by everyone whilst getting to each of our stops. You see so much of Sri Lanka it’s 100% worth it. The travelteer team make it an Incredible trip!

Aug 25,2024The good - The country itself, surfing, snorkelling, safari, Reece was an excellent coordinator Everything else - underwhelming for how much we paid, food was sub-par and repetitive and accommodation was not the best, tour was too fast paced - some things we missed or only had 10 mins for, definitely not worth 600£, some coordinators are super unprofessional (favouritism/discrimination, doing drugs/weed, not really doing much or trying to solve problems), programme was mainly passing buckets which for me is not favourable because I have scoliosis. the other things that are promised for the programmes are either infrequent or you do not do them, was told that I would be able to do certain things on other programmes (sports) but it seems like it is not the case. Generally it is pretty disorganised. Seems like Reece is the only one who actually tries to help & get things done so kudos to him.

Aug 25,2024I did the Coast2Coast tour in Sri Lanka with Travelteer and it was amazing! Alex, our coordinator was so friendly, attentive, funny, reliable and made sure we felt at ease at all times. Nalin our driver was excellent too. The tour was jam-packed and great value for money. We visited all of the main hotspots including Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, and Galle. I would highly recommend the tour. I have made memories for life!

Aug 23,2024Had such an amazing time out in Nepal, an experience I would highly recommend! Nepal is an amazing country with so much to offer, both during the volunteering and time off! Travelteer was very well organised and I felt very well looked after at all times. The team leader Sam made everyone feel very welcome and was a big contributor to my experience! It was very social and I made some good friends. Also, thank you to Shivva, who ran the homestay, for being so hospitable and cooking delicious food every night!

Aug 22,2024I volunteered in Sri Lanka for the marine conservation programme and can honestly say I’ve had the most unreal experience. Firstly, a huge thank you to Reece, he was my coordinator for the trip and went above and Bryson for absolutely everyone, my experience here would not have been the same without him. The trip was very organised, and scheduled well, we were catered too and looked after. I would definitely return. Leaving on a high and with the best memories and made some friends for life.

Aug 22,2024An amazing experience. The orphanage, Dr Nikala brilliant. But the tour was the real highlight. Reece was and amazing co-ordinator. Narlin and Dilshan were outstanding drivers and assistants. The train ride was spectacular as was the climb of ella Rock. The group of 27 I went with were fantastic and we all got on well. Thank you Reece, you are a legend!

Aug 21,2024I had the best experience of a lifetime with Travelteer with their programme in Sri Lanka. All the staff involved felt more like friends than anything, Reece Jones was a brilliant coordinator on tour and within the marine conservation setup, he was a kind, friendly and easygoing leader that we couldn’t off done without. Nalan the bus driver and Dishan were exceptional as well, always had a smile on their face and provided help without any hesitation when called upon. Overall I would highly recommend doing this experience it was truly a once in a lifetime programme. Thank you Travelteer!! 10/10

Aug 20,2024Wonderful country and the most friendliest people you will meet. The volunteering went by quickly and there was not a single moment where you feel bored or alone. The coast2coast tour was also a fantastic opportunity to see the beauty of the country. With the help of an amazing coordinator Reece, you are in good hands and you always feel safe. Additionally, the drivers Nalin and Deshan are exceptionally skilled at their job
