Jan 03,2025They aren't great at taking out payments at the end of the month and they tell us that if we don't pay on time our other housemates have to pay extra too which could cause tension in the house. "No weekends, no holidays" they don't take payments and there isn't a set date for payments just "the end of the month" which changes depending if its a weekend or holiday. Would be much better if it was just a set date instead of worrying if they're going to take it on time or not. WiFi is also dodgy, there has been too many times where it has just cut out entirely and we've gone days without it, despite being students and actually needing the WiFi to work properly, it isn't great for it to dip at random times, can't use our stuff for uni work or even the TV since it runs off WiFi

Dec 23,2024Gave us shoddy internet that was far from the "fastest available", likely the cheapest available. Constantly cut out and stopped the house from working. Refused to switch to a different provider without us paying a large severance fee to the ISP (Shell Broadband). Took a long time, a few technician visits that I organised on my own with Shell, a replaced router improved but did not fix issue. Shady contract technicalities as it was under "Mr Splitthebills", so Unihomes would pass the blame to Shell, and Shell back to Unihomes. A waste of time and unprofessional. Internet is so important for study, I will not use this bills package in the future.

Dec 22,2024It’s really easy to find the specific home you’re looking for! From location thanks to the map app to the already calculated distance between unis. As a uni student this made everything easier while I was stressed for exams. Finding a home with this app is one less thing to stress about!

Dec 21,2024Haven't rented anywhere from them as of yet but the site bought up rentals in Aberdeen and Aberystwyth, I expected them to show just the area I were searching, was a little inconvinient, made me feel foolish enquiring for accomodation 400+ miles away from where needed.
