Good a/c. Easy to install. Need a bit more info on cable routing and remote functions.
Quick shipping, great product at a great price, superior customer service!
Great shopping experience with the Velit website. I was able to get my AC within a week or so. I used the DIYvan roof adapter/seal to reinforce the attachment to the roof. Such a great adapter! So far, the unit has worked great, connected to my 600 amp Victron lithium Batteries. Advertised numbers are similar to what I am experiencing, Averaging around 500 W In the peak of Arizona summer. Very pleased with the unit so far. I anticipate this being helpful mostly in the evenings when off grid and to supplement the vans front AC when driving. Thank you, Velit, For manufacturing such a well-made/engineered product!
Very securely packaged. Easy installation. Air conditioner works great in our camper.
Great AC unit! Finally one made for a van. I build vans and this AC is the only brand I’ll be using now. I installed a Dometic RTX2000 a few months ago in a van and it was terrible compared to this one; had to modify many of the parts to install it in a van and the hole in the roof had to be bigger than the standard 14”x14”. Flash forward to installing this Velit AC and wow, big difference! Simple install, no modifications whatsoever, AC works seamlessly. Half the price of the Dometic and a much better product as well. Highly recommend this rooftop AC.
Great product and communication!
Does as expected. My only issue is the unit was on back order and I didn’t find out until two weeks after I ordered it. It would be hard to recommend if the communication on those type of situations don’t improve. Don’t get me wrong I love my air conditioner though.
Velit 12V AC 2000R delivered March 22, 2024 & installed June 1, 2024. After install, unit did not cool, figured the freon may have to settle so tried again in 12 hrs. No cold air. Temperature of the coils was room temperature. Customer service idea was a bad O ring and I should find someone to come out and fix it. I bought a $1,750 AC and got a roof vent fan instead. I am beyond livid.
The installation was easy converting a Maxxair fan to Velit AC unit, and the operation has been perfect so far and very effective at cooling my high roof Sprinter 2500.
The shipment was sent minus the fuse blocks and fuses at the unit. Cannot complete my installation. Ben sent replacement parts. I will pick them up tomorrow. Thanks Ben.
Took a while to arrive. Otherwise great.
I can’t review the product yet because it’s not installed yet. However, the directions for installation are essentially nonexistent. So this rating is for instructions. There should be good written instructions plus videos plus customer service support if needed.
All in one 12v ac unit very easy to install and great value
The heater took a couple of days to install then I couldn’t get it to work. I was so upset I couldn’t even be around it for the next day. A couple days later I tried it again and it started and seemed to work fine then it wouldn’t work again I thought it was the thermostat but can’t prove that the instructions were not clear. I would like to have had better results
It’s cooling power is great easy to operate and quite give my sprinter van a comfortable ride for my grandkids
Haven't had a chance to test it out really good. So far gets cold and blows really well! Easy installation. Very nice air con.
I just replaced my diesel heater with the Velit Gasoline Heater, it is definitely an upgrade. I no longer have to carry diesel and the fuel pump tick is not noticeable. I also tested the temperature control that shuts off the heater at 3 degrees past the set point and starts again at 3 degrees below the set point. I would recommend this heater for any RV that runs on gasoline.
Good products, great people
Everything from ordering to delivery was great. I had one question about items packed and I got a response right away (I'd misplaced the gasket as it turns out). I'm still in the midst of installation.

Jul 08,2024Great 12 volt AC unit. Running on high at 68 degrees with fan set to max uses very little power. Full sun with 600 watts of solar and 200ah lithium battery my Victron Smart Shunts shows unlimited run time. Install was a little tricky into my existing 14"x14" opening after I removed my AC. Would suggest 3 people for the install.
