May 06,2024We stayed at Hotel Modigliani in Purifiazione street in Rome. Highly recommend it. Family run, friendly staff with good English. Spotlessly clean. Upper rooms have balconies. Breakfast was amazing. It was in the heart of Rome. It was on a quiet side street but at the end of the street a large square with bus stops , shops, restaurants etc. Police all over Rome and we felt safe. From the hotel you can easily walk to all the famous sights eg: Spanish steps, Trevi fountain etc. Definitely plan your trip and book ahead the “skip the line” tickets as they can be sold out. Took a bus tour to Pompeii which was very good.

May 03,2024The cost appears to have increased without notice, or at least if notice was given it was not obvious. I can buy this product cheaper from Ocado. I shall be cancelling this regular delivery.

Jan 06,2024Ordered 3 rose and 3 white before Christmas. Took a while to arrive as DPD damaged the parcel. The rose wasn’t to my taste and I contacted When in Rome. They sent out replacement bottles which were delicious. A sustainable vegan product from a lovely responsive company. I stumbled across this wine in a local deli who were charging double the price, go direct to the seller because they are helpful and responsive and the wine tastes better knowing how it’s made. I love that I can recycle the packaging. Bravo!!

Nov 16,2023Easy ordering & very quick delivery. Tried the white wine Pecorino in a box. Love the wine, tastes high quality but less than £9 a bottle equivalent. Box east to use & feel good about 10x less co2 emissions! Will buy a decanter for dinner parties & continue to purchase boxes.
