Feb 07,2023Excellent eco friendy innovation as i know i dont know any other retailer that supply recyclable cardboard bottles. Obviously slightly higher price than boxes via a large wont name company. I would totaly recommend as glass is the wrong way forward.

Bought the Sangiovese box and having lived in Umbria for many years this was so good it took me back to my friends house who has sangiovese vines. It needs to breath in the glass and tastes even better if you can resist the temptation not to drink it

Dec 10,2022Good: simple, easy to navigate site, so the buying experience was fine. Less good: no follow up email to tell me my wine had shipped, such that I had no idea it was arriving! Luckily I was in when it did, but given other companies issue sophisticated tracking info with an estimated time of delivery, this is an area for improvement

Nov 21,2022I regularly buy WIR wines and their service can not be faulted-delivery in 48hrs and a delivery charge which makes all other wine sellers look like robbers.My only grouse with this purchase-the taster box-is the paltry amount in each box (100ml).You could at least have given us a glass full!The whole box works out at the equivalent of £22 A BOTTLE!There is barely enough for two people (my wife and I) to get a reasonable taste of the wine.

Oct 10,2022As soon as it was opened, the Barbera wine was tremendously sour and kneaded the mouth even if it left a good flavor. The next day you drink much better, although for my taste it is still too sour at the first puff. In any case, I have already bought other wines from when in Rome to test the other wines because the service is excellent and I need the bag in box system.

You can go beyond the obvious choice of pinot grigio with less known grapes, sourced from independent producers: I love peduncolo rosso and ribolla gialla from Friuli. I tried the can format: ideal for when I want a glass on my own. Ordered online: good service.
