Jun 11,2021I went in the local store because I heard about the £10 gift offer on £10 purchase, with getting refill of the decaf ground coffee and the jasmine loose leaf tea in mind. Having acquired an aeropress from the same store a few weeks ago, I was keen to try some coffee if I could. After a brief chat with the store staff, I was treated to a trial mini cup of the House blend ground coffee. This allowed me to make a decision on which non-decaf coffee to buy. I enjoyed this trip to the store so much more than the last time when I went in specially for buying the aeropress, and despite exploring the chance of discussing coffees, I had a lot of negative answers and poor eye contact with the staff at the time. Admittedly she was on her own but there was no other customer at all other than myself. Comparing to shopping online, the Whittard stores offer the distinctive only opportunity for pleasant interactions between staff and customers, which makes a pleasant shopping experience, and the benefit is to the store when more sales would be made, even if it would be for future visits to the store.

Jun 11,2021Updated review: Some months ago Whittard closed their shop inKingston upon Thames. My nearest shop is now in Wimbledon. FOrtunately, my mother-in-law lives there, so when we visit, I can pop inand pickup tea...If I were to use the webvsite, Iwould be charged a fortune for P&P, unless I spent more than - I think - £40. It feels like a tax for Whittard having closed my nearest shop! Twinnings dont charge P&P...so maybe I'll start getting more Twinnings Tea! Original review: Knowledgeable Staff and a great selection of quality teas. Not entirely convinced by their coffee, but I cannot fault the tea.

Jun 11,2021The service given by the staff members on Princes Street in Edinburgh was great. They advised me on the best tea that I was looking for and didn't make me feel pressurised into buying anything else. Very friendly staff and when I got my tea home and tried it - perfect.

Jun 11,2021I have visited Whittards a number of times in various locations and have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They are always quick to give useful information and won't just try to sell you the most expensive item. In all great Tea and Grear service!

Jun 11,2021I visited Whittards with my daughter and son in law on 5th June. The shop was very clean, inviting and the products were well laid out. The young man behind the counter was very pleasent, polite and friendly. He even laughed at my stupid dad jokes! He was very knowledgeable about the products he was selling and helped me choose a flavour of hot chocolate I then purchased and now enjoy. I would definitely recommend Whittards if/when you visit Leeds. 👍👍👍👌👌👌

Jun 11,2021Although Ive bought my coffee beans online during lockdown, it was marvellous to actually be back in store.. My visit to Whittards Birmingham was sheer joy..that amazing coffee smell! I was served by a very courteous lady, knowledgeable, calm and helpful.. In addition to my usual bean choices, I bought 3 new types too.. Excellent service..

Jun 11,2021I was offered free samples, explained about the ability to swap an item if I buy it and didn’t like it, and was offered to try a product before buying it. Also there were some reduced price items that tasted good.

Jun 11,2021Buying something at the Whittard shop in Kingston is always a pleasure. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and the products are of excellent quality. The last time I bought flavoured coffee for a friend and was well advised as ever but usually I buy tea and find the selection impressive. I also like that I get samples so I can try new flavours. Great company!
