Jul 04,2018I would definitely recommend Wyzant! I will cation that a lot of your experience really depends on your tutor though. The first one I selected didn’t have a good fit for me. She wasn’t prepared and our first session meeting was too long (2hrs). The second one was recommended by my university and she was a great fit for me. She was very helpful, good at explanations, and had examples just from our conversation prior to our first session. A huge difference and I am thankful for all of the help!

Jun 23,2018I searched for a tutor for my daughter for Ancient Greek. She was more comfortable working one on one than online. Luckily, we had a number of responses and found a great match. Billing and reminders are timely through Wyzant and they don't inundate my mailbox with spam. They do want a review after every lesson which doesn't apply since tutoring is ongoing and long term and not for a brief period to study for an exam or the like. Other than that would recommend.
