Feb 17,2018I made an account, logged in, typed in "Spanish tutor" set my perimeters of how far from my house, and within 1 minute found 2 tutors. I messaged them, one got back with me right away, and I now see him once a week for 2 hours. I have already progressed a lot in my Spanish and I really enjoy the tutoring sessions with him. It's a bit pricey, and I couldn't have ever seen myself spending so much every week, but the one on one learning is completely 100% worth it. My dad has also had similar experiences with Wyzant, but with a tutor via Skype. He also had a great experience. I also appreciate how they money is handled- I like that I don't have to worry about paying my tutor on time or remembering to bring a check- Wyzant just takes the money out of my account every week. Definitely would recommend.

Most tutors have been consistently good at connecting with our child, communicative with us (parents) and the results whether in person or online have been ideal. The online coaching is a good way to remain connected with a great tutor who may be traveling or leave your area but you'd like to keep them involved in your child's life. The interface for background checks and payment is great too.
