We can’t change the past but we can make our future a better place through our thoughts and behaviour. Our daughter’s mood swings have completely vanished. This program has not only helped our daughter of anxiety but our anxiety too. We have our daughter back! I highly recommend this program to anyone who wants to break this dreaded cycle and for our future generation to create their own legacy.
We are about 8 weeks in. My son who's 10, had been off school for 2 weeks when we started the programme. We were desperate. CAMHS had met with him and he couldn't explain and talk to a strange adult. Us parents started the course. Just listening to the videos and then meeting the other parents was incredible. My beautiful son was not weird, or a problem, or permanently affected. I could help him, he could help himself and we could get our happy lovely child back. It has been really hard work and it is still horrendous in the house a lot as we all learn and keep trying what we have learnt each day. He is back in school after 5 weeks of being off. He is coping in class and with friends and he know understands and can explain when his adrenaline is rising and he is becoming anxious. Sam presents and communicates in a particular style. I had to acclimatise to her style, often more words than I want in a time poor day. But slowing down and being patient is not a bad one to learn. Being told off by her, did give my head a wobble and it did actually make the change I needed. Someone needed to tell me to stop trying to pretend we were OK and that I was exhausted. I was we have coped with this for long Now my son is talking and listening in the kids group and comes out of them bouncing. I never thought he would be able to go and nor did he. What is even better no one asks him how he is feeling, because he still couldn't tell you. He is 10. We have a long way to go as a family, it takes a long time to heal and stop very long lasting parenting techniques. I am so glad we found this course. Advice to others, don't compare it with talking therapies, NHS support, CAMHS. It isn't the same thjng. It is primarily a parenting approach and guidance and support group focusing on anxiety and school refusal.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Young Vibes to families with anxious children. As it starts with changing the behaviour of the parents we have found it has improved relationships and confidence in our whole family.
This program is amazing, when those who should have helped my 11 year old daughter were not able to, sending us from one to another, we came across Sam and her team. Thanks to them we managed to get out of the black hole we were in and enjoy life again! Their tactics and support made my child smile again and become more confident day by day. Thanks to them we are not afraid of tomorrow because we know how to overcome anxiety , for which we are extremely grateful. Thank you to all of you. Xxx
I was at the end of my tether before joining this programme - awake at night searching for solutions to my childrens' anxiety - thank goodness a friend recommended it to me. As a health professional I found the videos informative and logical and they put my mind at rest - there was a solution out there! The zoom calls help you change your behaviour to help your kids and keep you going when the curve balls come! Sam is great with the kids and she will get them joining in even if you think they never will. Cannot recommend the programme enough!
When I found Sam and her team, everything she said resonated with me. I felt so lost and terrified, everywhere I had asked for help (school, GP, local services) didn’t have the answers. As soon as I started Sam’s course I finally felt in safe hands and surrounded by people who understood what we were going through. Doubters around me tried to pour water on the course but I believe in making up my own mind, gave the course a chance and I’m so happy I did. We aren’t completely through the woods yet but I feel calm and in control thanks to Sam and her team. We will get there and we are a much happier family thanks to all their advice. I cannot recommend them enough.
It works! We were at our wits end with a daughter who was just not getting better & hadn't been to school in over a year, tried many paths inclu CHAMS, autism test & blood tests. These all just seemed to make her symptoms worse! We were just going round in circles! Thank goodness we jumped on board with Sam & her team! We're back in school, we"re going into supermarkets & shops, we're visiting friends again, Yipee! (Still a journey but what a transformation) Ignore any bad press, they really just don't get it! It is in walking the walk themselves that has given Sam and this team the knowledge, passion and resilience to keep pushing forward in helping these kids and families to be able to put this amazing unique formula into place. Maybe we all need to just listen and understand how an anxiety disorder can wreak havoc from the true experts so we can just get better and move on! Thank You to Young Vibes!
We joined this whole family program this year when more traditional methods had not helped or had long waiting lists. The online videos and regular group calls start with the parents only at first, so you can check it out before involving your child more actively. I learnt how shifting my perspectives and behaviour could stop adding fuel to my child's general anxiety and I saw the differences in my child even before my child knew about the program. I like that you can preview what your children watch before they see it, so it is different from 1-1 talking therapy where you don't quite know what it is being said to your child. There are a few child videos I chose to skip because I felt they were not appropriate or relevant to my child, but that is one of aspects I like about the delivery of this program. I discussed the general principles of the program with my psychologist friend and teacher friend as I worked through them and they also felt it was a reasonable, top-down approach. My child was too overwhelmed to attend school or even study at home for over 6 months with severe physical symptoms and brain fog. The doctors could only diagnose it and not really provide much help for recovery. However following this program, I no longer have fear about the symptoms or missed school and my child is now back at school without any fuss. My child is now significantly less anxious, has less physical symptoms of anxiety and has the tools and assurance for life to know what to do when anxious thoughts or sensations appear.
We are part way through this programme. It has had an incredibly positive impact on family life and our son’s anxiety. The support offered by the amazing team including daily zoom calls is crucial. Looking back we cannot believe how transformative this programme has already been for our son after only 6 weeks and we are so grateful that we have joined Young Vibes.
I would definitely recommend this programme to anyone who is going through daily struggles with their child/children related to anxiety. I can't praise Sam and her team enough for her passion knowledge and honesty when it comes to explaining and understanding my child's brain. I learn alot on a daily basis and believe me it really works. Xx
We have been on the this programme for over 6 months. Our son refused to goto school which was down to Anxiety. It has been a long road and has and will still have ups and downs. The difference now is we know how to deal with it and prevent an outburst escalating further. Our son is starting back at school a few mornings a week and looking good to do more. Please don't presume oh its just a kid and we need to be more strict. We are very level headed people and have rules and support for our children. Until you go through this journey yoi have no idea. Thank you so much to the great supportive team and other parents who have helped and supported our journey. If your child is refusing to goto school and you think it's more than just being silly. Go onto the Website and have a read.
I recommend Sam and her team wholeheartedly. You will be challenged to make changes, which is needed. They clearly care and provide great support, both individually and in groups. As a father, I have found the Dad group sessions immensely helpful, not least because I know that my wife and I are not alone with our challenges. I was sceptical initially, particularly as all other so-called support options were poor and ineffectual. CAMHS has been a total disaster, creating more trauma than helping. But have been won over in a big way! Do not pay attention to the bad press. I am a battle-hardened C-level executive who can smell a fake from a mile away. These guys are legit and a blessing to the families in their care. One bit of advice: if you take the course, you will only get back what you put in. If you want to fix the problem, you (the parent) must dig deep and make personal changes to help your child heal. This course provides a practical guiding handrail to make the needed changes.
Something doesn't feel quite right with this firm which also goes as Young Vibes and Anxietyrecovery, same woman. I saw the advert on FB and watched the intro webinar, as a psychotherapist I like to know what's out there for my adult clients who have children. It was quite erratic dismissing therapy on minute but claiming a child psychotherapist overlooks their protocol and she has a ncfe in anxiety? No idea what that is. Please be mindful of any organisation that wants a lot of money to help your child, when they don't have trained, or professional expertise to back it up, and you are at your most vulnerable. I could only see faceless reviews, also a concern. I hope it's not, for the child's sake more than anything. The Attachment Nerd or any child therapy expert offering free advice online is a good place to start when you want to learn more about your child's needs.
This just proves how untrustworthy this company is and have been caught out now by Trustpilot at last. They have also done a moonlight flit from where they were living ( at £3000 per month ) without leaving a forwarding address!
After leaving a 1* review on here I was contacted immediately by Martin who confirmed that the company has now changed to mums net? He agreed that we would have a full refund and would contact me by phone as he agreed that my son did not get the support he should have had. It’s been 4 months now with no further reply, despite my emails asking when the refund would be processed. Sadly, I think we have been fobbed off again. Please beware, if your child suffers with severe social anxiety then this may not be the right course of treatment. Clearly, it doesn’t work for everyone. Edit: thank you for your atrocious reply. It was agreed by the founder of Young vibes that your company did not give my son the support he should have had and was in no way reflective of the support I had given. What an awful reply to insinuate that the blame lies with the parent when it was clearly the lack of support from your company, as admitted by Martin after reviewing the ‘sessions’ that my son had.
Needs to be stopped and fast I almost fell for this but luckily did my research Operates under multiple names - more recently is “the mums net” previously peaky parents, ycff, kids anxiety disorder solutions - google it and you will see a shocking sales script - reminding them to pick holes in what you have already tried Maybe it’s worked for some Kids - but I certainly would not put my child’s future in the hands of such a dishonest company
Our experience with this company was very problematic. We found most interactions to be extremely unprofessional. My suggestion to you would be this. Do a lot of research on this company before singing up. We did not and we regret it.
Sam describes it as ‘being in the pit’ and it certainly is, with every aspect of family life being affected by your child’s anxiety. We have gained so much insight into what anxiety is and what it isn’t, and that knowledge is power. Sam is passionate about recovering your child and as a parent you have to be onboard- it is not drop your kid off for a 30 minute therapy session and then carry on as before. As a parent you have to look deeper and parent in a new, unfamiliar way. It is challenging and counterintuitive but it absolutely does work. It isn’t easy but if you make a concerted effort, you will start to see results quickly. The parent drop-ins are very helpful- having a school refuser feels very isolating and listening to other parents going through the same or recovering is so valuable and encouraging. It is still early days for us with former challenges to be really tested but the fact that our daughter has been lighter, brighter, more engaged and with a taster day booked at a new school, we are definitely in a better place with thanks to Sam and the team.
Taking on this programme was going to be the final hurrah after trying every option to help with my 14 year old sons anxiety. I felt very let down with the options offered to us as a family and we were all down a rabbit hole. At this point my son hadn't been in school for 14 months, he couldn't get in a car, he avoided all social situations, he was fearful of vomiting so consequently would be very picky with food. Our family life was stagnant, unhappy and we were all treading on eggshells. Sam and the team made ME feel immediately supported I felt I could finally breathe again. The parent portals are the gold nuggets where you will learn about yourselves as parents and realise how you can change your habits and approaches to parenting.. It will test you, make you cry, make you laugh and feel like Sam is talking about you! The parenting support groups that are run everyday were my absolute cocoon where I felt listened to, supported and seen. I learned so much from listening to other parents in the same situation. The fear I had felt for so long soon abated and my son started to notice the change. He started the programme with a very negative outlook due to feeling that "nothing works". It didn't take long for him to realise that this was different and he started to finally understand what had been happening to him and why. This programme takes work and commitment and a willing to change. Change has happened... I have my son back! He is back in school, happier and says "it's gone Mum". We still have moments but we now have the tools and know how to deal with and not fear it any longer. I can't thank you all enough for your strong passion and support for helping my family. My son has this for life.....

Jul 27,2024We have been on the program for a number of months and have seen a real change in our daughter. We are getting our amazing confident bubbly girl back as this program has enabled us all to understand how her anxiety was impacting everything. It's not a quick fix, it takes determination and resilence from the parents and children, but it does work. Sam has an amazing ability to relate too the children and our daughter loves going on the group calls. I would highly recommend. Jamie
