I recently took out a breakdown cover with this company which was a very small cost £31, but then I reviewed them and they had awful reviews, I phoned the company to cancel as I had only had the policy a few days way before the 14 days, but they have charged me £10 fee. Absolutely disgusting so glad I cancelled it definitely wouldn't want to risk a breakdown with them.

During a stop on a long journey I noticed a bulge on the front right tyre. I called 2Gether breakdown for assistance, and was told they would only help if the tyre was flat. They said I should drive to a garage myself to get it fixed, and to call them if the tyre exploded. This was very dangerous advice. I asked for them to wait a moment for me to discuss with my partner what we were going to do, 2Gether hung up on me, leaving us stranded in the middle of nowhere on a bank holiday. Very unprofessional, awful experience, would not recommend.
Easy to apply and pay for from the Compare the Market website, but I will comment in 12 months time whether or not I would recommend. I've had so much trouble with breakdown insurance companies, that I am not very trusting of their claims.
We asked for confirmation that there auto renewal will be switched off. It was like trying to get blood out of stone, and like flogging a dead horse. Until today, we have still not receive a response for such a simple request- confirmation by email that under our policy, auto renewal is turned off. Nothing and no confirmation at all. Customer service is far from ideal…take ages to reply to an email and only attempt apologise after being prompted…don’t waste your money with this company…

Apr 28,2025V.good service. Car would not start on drive way . Contacted breakdown cover. They did check accessibility to property and ensured appropriate vehicle was sent. Unfortunately car could not be fixed so loaded on recovery van and dropped off. Total time was 90 mins. Breakdown / response person very helpful and went beyond what I would have expected. Thanks
