Sep 17,2024A first in series of reviews: website not working properly, price shown as quoted turned out to be way higher during last click of Apple-Pay button, which I didn't notice. Be careful! Then my van was sent to a workshop (Alba Tyres, Headingley Leeds) that did not accept me because of hight (!) Why was I sent there in the first place? The same shop refused to do it outside - because of the sloping road. Then was sent to another shop: The "Tyres 4 Less" Protyre, in Armley Leeds - on the slope had no problem working on changing tyres! However, they had a problem with an employee who got arrested whilst the guy was winching up my van! Another, older man, got on the job attaching alloy-related weights for balancing on the steel rims - which fell of when I tried them! He went onto hammering them in without taking the wheel off! After horrendous experience of arrest on sight, and clearly not balanced wheels properly - I was sent to a THIRD place (in Horsforth, which I recommend) - to balance wheels. Whilst backing out, hit the wall and broke the light. My fault - yet I was not supposed to have been there. For this ordeal, after much complaints - got 110GBP as a sorry, which wouldn't cover 3 trips, time and fuel, never mind the damaged that was done to the light. With 1 exception of above, absolutely atrocious experience with every person I dealt with, at every place I went to.

Sep 12,2024Ordered a set of tyres, wheel nuts and alloys to be delivered at a garage for fitting. Received confirmation of delivery and booking slot. Turned up, no alloys were there. Tried to ring the office just after half 11 on a Saturday, couldn't get through and the office closed at 12... Had to apologise to garage for wasting their time and slot on a busy day. Called first thing Monday. No apology, just we'll look into it, as it was a third party and said will call back. However, my order was with them so felt like there was little ownership of the issue. Had to chase. Wasn't until Wednesday that alloys were delivered and had to take time off work for fitting. No re confirmation of booking slot with garage, had to arrange myself. Products are fine, but service was poor and I'm sure there are other companies that are not reliable and appreciate of your business.

Sep 09,2024I dealt with a gentleman called Henry Nash, who was very helpful, in answering all of my questions and confirming the correct fitting for my vehicle. The delivery was excellent. Ordered before 12.00 and they were delivered before 09.00 the following day. This enabled me to get the tyres fitted prior to my visit to the Netherlands a few days later. My only little niggles were, that the rim size details are stamped where you can't see them once a tyre is fitted and I found the paint finish to be a little bit gritty on the inside of the rim.
