Very calm, friendly instructors. The course is intensive so it does require concentration, but having gone from never being in the drivers seat to feeling fully confident, it is worth the time.
I’m on my final day of my course at 5 day and Andy Brady has been amazing he has thought me a lot in the 5 days and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. I would also like to thank Alan for helping me to pass my theory first time with flying colours.
From having zero driving experience, by the end of the week I was driving comfortably on the roads and was very close to being able to book my driving test after also passing my theory. Would recommend for those who want to get their driving license safely and smoothly in a short period of time.
I studied my course at 5day’s Leeds branch, I passed my theory first time as the in class lessons really helped me learn. My driving instructor is Madeeha Khan, I highly recommend her for lots of reason the main one being she is very thorough in her marking and will make sure you know exactly what your doing. All in all a very good experience.
Great way to boost confidence and experience in both theory and practical sides of learning to drive. would 100% recommend to anyone who wants to pass as soon as possible.
Just want to say the instructors at the St. Helens branch Chris Cooper (my instructor) Andy and Graham had their hands full with three ladies on the course! But they were all great very friendly & helpful, we all passed our theories first time, I passed my practical yesterday 1 st time. I was an anxious / nervous driver with little experience but Chris made me feel confident and at ease whilst learning. If you listen and focus and take on board what they say this course will help you to pass for sure would recommend :) THANKS Chris !
Brilliant course passed first time today thanks to Jackie Bailey brilliant instructor
From reading the latest reviews, it appears that a student who took the course has invented or encouraged other people to place awful reviews about this company for the past 24 hours. What a w anker! Why slate a company just because they do not have to ability to learn a new skill in a short space of time.
Today I passed my practical driving test with only 5 minors! Thanks to 5Day for getting me through this, and a massive thanks to Andy Brady for getting me through this.
My girlfriend paid in full for her course and did 1 day with an awful lady who made her cry a few times during the day. The following day national lockdown was announced. Since then she has had no correspondence from 5 day. We have both called and the sales staff tell us to Email and are very unhelpful and no one replies to emails. Paid over one thousand pounds for nothing.
My son has just attended the course which really helped him through his theory test as he was struggling. His driver on the other hand was not so good he left my son for 2 hours outside while he went off to do something, this course was a lot of money and straight away he lost 2 hours. On the last day he did not even do half a day on maneuvers. The catch is even when you have finished this course you still need lessons to be ready for your test really not impressed.
Really great experience, learn so much both theory and practical, Dawn my instructor was very friendly, patient and easy to learn from.
Incredible experience. I have attempted to drive several times over many years and always had an issue with roundabouts amongst other things, impacting my confidence. Mohammed at Birmingham Sutton Coldfield branch was a marvelous instructor; the opposite to the norm 'grumpy old man' type I've had many times before. Not only did he provide clear easy to attempt broken down instructions, he always came across as really invested in making sure I succeed. Mohammed was positive, passionate and always a joy to be in the car with. He also lead the classroom theory in an engaging manner. I successfully passed my theory with only one incorrect question and my confidence has improved tremendously, so much so that I am test ready. Would definitely recommend to anyone whether doing a manual or auto. It may seem a little more pricey than some other intensive courses but I can say it's definitely worth the value. Ask about barking ;)
I had previous bad experiences learning to drive with past instructors. I’m quite a nervous person behind the wheel and I can safely say that’s gone now. Andy Brady at the Manchester branch has been absolutely amazing, he’s so relaxed professional and extremely good at what he does I couldn’t recommend the course more, I have learnt extra things off the syllabus which will really help me in the future with my driving such as motorway driving, one way systems, country roads, level crossing and more. Thanks once again to andy and also Alan for the theory side of things, despite doing my theory test already it has been more than worth while to recap on the whole theory side of driving James Byrnes
The course was very helpful. The intense driving made it easier to pick things up and the theory lessons were extremely beneficial. Tim (Peterborough) was a great teacher and explained everything in such an easy way and was always happy to help and answer any questions. My instructor James was brilliant and gave me all the help I needed. I would recommend the Peterborough 5day centre to anyone interested in driving. The only thing is, don’t expect to be driving within the week you’ll have to wait for your practical to come available but with the circumstances that isn’t anyone’s fault!
I attended 5 day Peterborough, Both theory and practical lessons were really helpful and have helped so much to prepare me for my test! Really recommend if you’re wanting to get driving quickly!
My review is based on a cyclists experience of the quality of the instructors and my ability to contact 5day to relay my message. I was riding my bike in Shipley when a 5day car drove past me so close that I felt wing mirror narrowly miss me and causing me to swerve. When I investigated 5day it was clear that there are no centres in Bradford so I can only assume that the driver was rushing to get to Leeds. The only reason the car could not go faster was the fact that there was another car infront of it! I wanted to contact 5day to express my displeasure but its one of those sites that has no contact details except for a postal address. So I was not able to contact them privately so I have resorted to trust pilot. A company that does not offer a phone number or an email address makes me wonder what its hiding. I have no opinion on there ability to help people drive but I do worry about the quality of the instructors if there driving is that poor. I'm only disappointed that I didn't get the registration number. Apologies for not seeing the contact number. I was looking for specific contact tab. I also appreciate your quick response. I hope you can also respond to my main issue that was the quality of the driving of one of your cars.
I attended the course on the 14/09/2020 until the 18th. I was extremely anxious about the course especially since I had had bad experiences with other lessons prior to this. I am an anxious person and was worried if this course would work for myself however I had Lynne Reed and she was amazing with me. She took it at my pace and knew when I was ready to move onto the next thing. She was encouraging, patient and great with my nerves. Alan was both friendly and informative with the theory which I passed at the end of the week. I had a great time with the people there too. I can say I thoroughly enjoyed the week and didn’t expect to. Thanks to Lynne and Alan also. I highly recommend 5 Day to other people even if you are anxious or worried about driving. It was a great experience and I personally have decided to take more lessons with Lynne.
My son took the course in July, he enjoyed the week and got on with his driving instructor so far so good. With Covid it was difficult to get a test, so my son had to wait until the end of October for a test which is a long time to wait having had his course in July. I asked what strategies they had in place to help the students as they had no lessons until the test, they assured me they had put in place strategies for this which turned out to be a one hour lesson weeks before his test, I was also advised to pay for private lesson, which having spent over a £1000,00 for a course which I had to save up for as a single mum. I do not have the funds to keep paying for lessons. I get you have to pay for both the theory and practical test, but when my son failed the unlimited lessons again is just one correction lesson, then they need £62.00 for another test, I am fine with that. They also want £30.00 for the test to be fast tracked and £60.00 for the use of the car, these are not expenses you expect when you book on the course. Make sure you fully understand what you are paying for before you book the course as now I am having to save again to afford the fast track and car

Dec 12,2020I’ve recently finished an intensive automatic course in ipswich, I have never driven/practiced theory before this week, my theory was brilliantly taught by Chris wise, and my driving was made easy and manageable by Richard Carter, I passed my theory test first time (50/50 and 66/75) and after the week Richard was happy for me to book my driving test. I booked a test and it is all ready for next Wednesday as they fast track you! Brilliantly run and highly recommended!
