So 5 day course can you kindly explain how you train your candidates to pass in just 5 days with only theory practice as Iāve heard from your current candidates and they are on the road 4 hours a day right with a break. Now letās do some maths letās just say your lessons are Ā£30 each so 4 hours a day times 5 days so thatās 20 hours of driving so 20 hours times Ā£30 per hour lesson is Ā£600 hundred. Are these candidates seriously paying Ā£400 more than an average person would spend on lessons just to get theory practice? What is so special about your courses and how successful are you with passing candidates? My personal opinion is your to expensive and only a small minority of candidates will pass in 5 days the average candidate passes after approximately 40+ hours of driving time Likewise not many people will LEARN TO DRIVE in 5 days to reach there goal of PASSING the test ! Which is realistically every trainee drivers goal whilst attending your course A detailed break down of your charges are below. Ā£50 per hour of driving times 4 hours driving a day is Ā£200 times hours 20 is Ā£1000 and Ā£47 on booking ur theory which is approx Ā£23 so therefore My personal opinion which dear 5days driving course I am entitled to having been on your course or not I am allowed to make others aware through review I may well be known to someone who has been to your course or is currently doing your course therefore my review states the opinions of a former or current trainee by word of mouth. Way to expensive! Dear 5 days I do not need any questions answering I have just answered a question many of your trainee drivers would require the cost per hour of driving and my answer to them is Ā£50, Ā£20 approx more expensive than booking an hours driving out there with other driving schools for example the (others out there) would give you 2 hours driving for that price š And why not choose the DVLA app and learn your theory at home or anywhere which is current and up to date that candidates out there are using. My honest opinion I find the DVLA app extremely useful and it only cost me Ā£5. Download from your mobile phone App Store. Theory pass rate through this app 99% Thanks for your feedback 5 days my review is not negative itās more informative to educate people who may not have Ā£1000+ or may have taken a very long time to save this amount to attend your driving school and leave with little driving experience yet a big hole in their pocket š Once again thank you for your feedback much appreciated I can understand your frustration but like I mentioned above 5 days my review reflects a former learner or current learner I am basically sharing the experience they have had or are having! 4 hours a day of driving and theory practice is what you do yet some driving instructors cut down to 3 and a half hours of driving a day. I would say well done for getting candidates faster bookings for a practical test but currently due to the pandemic it has been a struggle to. Finally a review is an opinion of service received can I please state once again my review is factual content from word of mouth by either a former trainee or current trainee whom I would not like to mention! Trainees can choose to visit your driving school or not itās clearly up to them my review is not to educate trainees on the cost I find way to expensive for 5 days however if they happy to pay it good for them. Once again thanks for the quick and speedy feedback but my opinion will still strongly be āOvercharged and Expensiveā could I also go onto mention I am fully aware of a typical day at your driving school and what it involves by word of mouth from a current trainee who has typically received 4 hours a day of practical driving and theory practice and no further education included. I can also see similar reviews from former trainees to which you challenge! Yet the majority of your reviews are fantastic so people are happy with your services! Dear 5 days I am not a driving instructor nor promoting another driving school. I love how you challenge my review however I will still think you are way expensive! And that 5 days and 20 hours of driving will not get your candidates a PASS š @ driving instructor sorry to disappoint but I am not nor am I advertising services in this review but factual content from word of mouth of someone who clearly states itās a loss of a lot of money! Just think of the frustration of someone who works extremely hard night and day to earn a thousand pounds to spend in just 5 days and not learn much nor pass their driving! I speak on the behalf of them š Once again nicely challenged yet my opinion will not change you are highly over priced yet I do not speak on the behalf of a driving school or individuals and I am entitled to my opinion on a review site for the public to read! Your responses seem as if you are frustrated with peopleās opinions hmmm not professional š
They are proper scumbag 3 and half an hour lesson every day Paid Ā£200 pound a day So you paid 5 day Ā£ 1000 thousand pounds End of the week you not learning anything Please guys donāt go five days Coures because they are scumbag I Paid Ā£ 1000 i not learn anything
Absolute crooks! THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE PASS!! Charging basically Ā£50 per hour, for 20 hours worth of driving in 1 week. 4hrs driving per day and the rest Is for theory training. You still pay them for a theory test and if you fail the theory test they wonāt rebook you another theory test through them you have to book it yourself and practical tests you also have to pay on top for too. Monday - Friday 9am-5pm and your theory test is booked on the Friday. You can have āFREEā Theory test retraining in class again, but only for the following Wednesday-Friday. If you pass your theory, you must still pay them for a practical test, if you fail the practical, you pay them again. For over Ā£1000, itās not worth 20hrs of driving and the extra costs on top! Would have been a lot better if they could rebook your theory test if you do unfortunately fail.
My 5 day experience was great. Tim was really helpful with my theory. My driving instructor was Very helpful! My experience over all was great and I really recommend doing this intense driving course.
I just finished a 5 day course at the norwich branch and I couldn't be happier to have passed my theory test first time I would like to thank Greg my theory tutor for the week and I would like to say a special thank you to my practical driving instructor Bob meridale it has been an amazing week with the 5 day team from Norwich
My experience was absolutely great! My theory instructor Greg was very helpful and friendly, he gave us all the best tips and was very clear with what he was teaching and showing us. As for the practical it was just as brilliant. My instructor Bob was very professional, patient and installed me with not only clear instructions and good tips, but confidence as well, overall would recommend!
I took my crash course at the beginning of June 2020 during the Covid 19 pandemic as I am a key worker, they took all the correct precautions and it was just me and the instructor on a 1-1 basis! I learnt more in one day with 5day than I did over a course of 35 lessons, they know exactly what they are doing and are the best people to help prepare yourself for your driving test. Iāve always been extra anxious behind the wheel or on the road but my confidence grew significantly! My 5 day course had finished but due to COVID I had to wait a month and a half for my test to be booked, I had lost all confidence but my instructor went out of his way to give me private lessons before the test for a confidence boost and I still canāt believe I managed to pass my test first time with only 6 minors! I would highly recommend, they are very intense, knowledgeable and patient. Definitely worth the money as well! I spent over 2 years of driving lessons and never felt the confidence I did after 1/2 days with 5 day! Amazing !!!!
Was very good. Good laugh and very professional.
learnt a lot, instructors were very professional and very easy to get along with.
Learnt a lot. instructors were helpful
Instructors were very helpful and I learnt a lot !
Very good enjoyed a lot.
Taking the course in Peterborough has helped a lot having Tim teaching me my theory lead me to pass and having Andy as my driving instructor has put me in the position to get my test booked Tim and Andy are both very positive people. I Highly recommend the 5day course.
It was the last day of my driving course today and I couldnāt be happier and more confident going into independent driving! My instructor was Pwi-Ha Li, and she was persistent, patient, dedicated and genuinely cared. Her repetitive reminders about mirrors and positioning have been ingrained into my head, so I hear her mentoring words when driving now! She has her own independent school and I couldnāt recommend her more. She really does push you to be the best possible driver. Greg was my theory trainer and he was a really fun, patient and calming presence when I ha him for my mock practical examination! I could not recommend this course more, they are comforting for every level, and I truly feel confident going into independent driving!
Super informative during theory and briefing practice. Very helpful and calm instructor throughout the whole week of driving. Always willing to answer any questions. 100% recommend
I have no complaints for the theory side of this course - I passed with flying colours with no prior experience, and the teaching was delivered to a high standard with the right amount of self practice. However, I was very disappointed with the practical element. Looking back, I should've had some previous experience before starting the course, but 5Day does advertise that it works from beginners. My driving instructor (Kevin) was extremely impatient and rude. He was a decent person as a whole, very friendly in casual conversation. However, as an instructor, I would not recommend him. I know it's not just me that felt this way, as when I researched him he had very bad reviews from other learners (not on the 5day course). I don't really understand why such an expensive, high quality course would employ subpar driving instructors. The instructor fuelled my fear of driving, rather than helping me to overcome it. My feedback could be different if I were given a different instructor - the structure of the course worked and, as previously mentioned, I passed the theory. To anyone considering this course, I'd recommend having some past experience, and give my good luck to you if you get given Kevin, especially if you're a beginner. Also, I feel the corrective lessons need some further explanation. They are not until you feel ready for your next test after failing one, but only for what you failed your test for. So, if you had a major that you'd never do again, you would only get one lesson - even if the instructor believes you need many more hours driving before your next test. If I were rating the instructor, it would be as low as possible. But rating the company, I do believe there are many positive aspects. Overall - I really regret doing the course as I feel I wasted 1K. Iāve found a much better driving instructor with the pay-as-you-go method and only spent a few hundred with him before taking my test - and he basically had to teach me how to drive from scratch and get rid of all the fear of driving that developed during the course.
Just finished my 5day course, I cannot fault my instructor in any way shape or form, she is 1000% one of the best in the North London branch and Iām so glad I got her, she makes sure you understand everything like manoeuvres, controls, and if you are unsure of something she explains in in detail, she asked me what I felt I needed help on and helped me gain so much confidence. She is a true asset to 5 day! The classroom personally I felt like this could have been better, I felt some topics were slightly rushed and skimmed over very quickly. I luckily passed my theory first time but I believe this was down to A. My instructor helping me with road signs and B. The DVSA app. The slides were somewhat informative but if you had missed what the teacher had said and tried to revert back to the slide to see what you had missed that was difficult because it didnāt have the information on there in wording just the pictures etc which made it a bit more difficult. I also think itās a bit misleading with regards to the testing, you actually wonāt have your test within the first 2 weeks of doing the course because DVSA arenāt doing tests at the minute so I genuinely do believe this should be stated as soon as you enter the classroom Monday. Myself and other pupils asked about testing all week and was pushed off and said we will talk about that on Friday which in my opinion was actually really frustrating because you have just paid Ā£1000+ for this course and you would expect them to be prompt with information like that and not leave every one in the dark about it. Personally I donāt think they should be using the term āpass your test in 5 daysā because you wonāt you have to wait, the service that is being stated (quick pass driving test/fast track driving tests) is incorrect, the current wait time is exactly as it is if you was to arrange the driving test on your own which is really frustrating. With regard to your reply, you claim fast track driving tests when in fact the wait is exactly the same as if I was to apply myself via DVLA, thatās unfair considering we all paid Ā£1000+ for a course and mislead to believe we would get fast track driving tests. The wait is 13 weeks apparently and everything Iāve learnt during my course will not be fresh in the brain. Your missing the point every time we asked about it we was not told anything until Friday which in my opinion is barbaric we are paying customers if we ask a question we deserve a honest upfront answer. Rather than being defensive offer a solution to the problem
Driving instruction was all good but 2 hour of theory on a tablet a day can be tiresome and bland and feels like it slapped on to the end of the day to bump up the price a bit hour presentation at the start is useful but felt like alot of the theory could of be learnt independently at home
I had a great week. Greg was very helpful.
