Feb 19,2024There seems to be a tremendous amount of delay getting the process service completed. Mail & mail was completed well over 8 days ago and all that needed to be done was completion and execution of the Affidavit of Service. A so-called “proof” of the AOS was uploaded shortly after the nail&mail ( which also took longer than expected to be accomplished) and we r still waiting for the completed and signed AOS despite the promise it should take more than 2 business days from the proof being uploaded. That time frame has simply not been close to being met. This despite a number of texts I’ve sent which seem to me are being ignored. I’m Not a happy camper and would think twice before using ABC again given this experience. My regular process server would have had this all completed and filed a week or two ago.

Feb 14,2024As someone who serves process for various entities for nearly 25 years, I feel compelled to share my recent experience with ABC Legal, which has been nothing short of troubling and concerning. My interaction with ABC Legal, has highlighted their lack of ethical considerations and their rigid, corporate approach to process serving. Instead of prioritizing reasonable and respectful methods, they adopt a robotic strategy that disregards the well-being and safety of their servers. One glaring issue is their insistence on sending servers to properties even when it's evident that the subject isn't present, whether due to absence, vacation, or explicit statements that the defendant doesn't reside there. This not only wastes the server's time but also creates unnecessary inconvenience and potential risks. Furthermore, their practice of penalizing servers for not complying with their unreasonable demands is appalling. By withholding assignments without proper notification or explanation, they create an atmosphere of uncertainty among their workforce, which is both unfair and unprofessional. In conclusion, my experience with ABC Legal, has been nothing short of disappointing and alarming. Their unethical and unreasonable approach to process serving not only undermines the integrity of the profession but also poses serious risks to the safety and well-being of their servers. I urge both the company and those seeking their services to reconsider their practices and prioritize ethics, safety, and respect for their employees and the communities they serve.

Feb 13,2024I am pleased with the speed of service, but the affidavit of service does not meet expectations. It only recites service of a "Citation", where there were three separate documents to be served simultaneously: including a "Notice of Commencement of Proceeding subject to Mandatory Electronic Filing" and a "Summary of Account." I advised the initial telephonic contact that there were three different documents and indicated that there were three documents when I submitted my request online. I need the affidavit to recite all three documents. Also, the service was accomplished by substitute service and the affidavit indicates that the Citation was probably mailed to the correct party and address. However, the date for such mailing is blank and it does not indicate that three documents were mailed, only the Citation. Assuming that all three documents were properly downloaded and copied for service and mailing, I need a corrected affidavit of service listing all documents served, the date of mailing and that all three documents were also mailed.

Feb 13,2024Unfortunate. Easy uploading of cases, nice website, services were successful. Unfortunately there was a sudden rate/billing issue and though I tried numerous times to inquire I got zero resolution. So, I cant use the services anymore.

Feb 12,2024The server knocked on the witness's door at 9:45 pm. According to the witness, they were banging on the door, and they were "scared" as a result. We need the witness to cooperate. The time of service may have caused them to decide not to cooperate.
