Jan 30,2020I have been using aims as my sole source of AC for 3 years, I am so pleased by there inverters that when I had a breakdown and had to send it in for repairs I bought a second one to use. After I got the repaired unit back I put it in storage as a spare. For the money these inverters can't be beat. The only change I would suggest is having the option for shore power to either charge batteries only or charge battery's AND pass through to the AC out as it currently is. This would be useful to use a small generator to trickle charge battery's overnight vs buying a 7500kw which is required to meet min 11a charging + my AC load

Jan 30,2020Used my aims converter maybe 4 times. Doesn't work anymore. Properly installed and It has never been abused in anyway. Just hangs on the wall as it should. I would expect better performance for the price I paid

Jan 30,2020Bought an AIMS 1500 watt inverter, installed it and it lasted one day. Tried emailing and calling AIMS Corp multiple times, no response. After that I tried taking it to a local electronics repair place to see if they could fix it, after a couple days they said they found the part that had died, but they couldn't fix it because the part info had been scratched off at the factory. Don't buy from AIMS. I have a Cotek inverter now, haven't had any problems with it.

Jan 30,2020Absolutely top notch! I had initially purchased the wrong unit, AIMS handled the exchange without issue. The 4Kw inverter now running one year on the houseboat without issue. I will look no further than AIMS for any future solar/ inverter need.

Dec 21,2019I did not expect a fast turn around for this out of warranty repair, however when the time exceeded expectations Aims made it right. I had already replaced the unit with a new one when I sent it in for repair. As we have tested the unit in actual use for over 5 years and found it to be a very well made product, so much so we became an Aims dealer.

Nov 19,2019Bought from a RV that was going out of business. When I installed the inverter it would not work so I called the repair department and talked with the technician.After explaining the problem he said to call the rv dealer that I bought it from I told him that they went out of business He said that they were not a dealer and there was nothing he could do After talking with him for sometime he sent me a RMA and said that he would take care of it. After I shipped the inverter that cost me all most 50.00 to ship back they told me that because I didn't have a invoice that they can't replace it.now keep in mind that it was in the original box with all the paper work that came with it. Now I'm out the cost of the inverter plus the shipping. Jay Jones was so rude that he apologize for the way he talked to me and promised that you would take care of the situation I explained to mr. Jones that I did not have an invoice he said that he would take care of the situation once shipped your attitude has changed dramatically you would think that paying that much money for a inverter plus shipping in the original box they would have taken care of it their customer service is zero in my book
