Jay is amazing! There is not much more to say.
It took a few days for an initial response, but was worth it. Their Tech got me up and running after only 2 e-mails.
Had a switch break and sent them an email with picture and received replacement part within a couple days...no hassles
Thank you very much, Very professional service , easy to reach tech service and technician.
This is the best customer service I have ever experienced.
I have contacted Jay in tech services several times, he knows my voice by now. Lol. Outstanding service. Give that man a raise.....
Good service abd responce time
Cody did a great job with answering all of my technical questions and sending me the requested manual. thank you
Wanted to know if the on board circuit breaker protected both the input and output 120VAC lines. Got a next day response indicating it protects the output only. Quick response was much appreciated and a pleasant surprise.
In July 2020 I bought my AIMS solar kit through the Inverter Store. It has never worked properly. I bought it on guidance from customer support. I set it up with guidance from tech support. When it kept failing they kept blaming my setup/me anyway but whatever instructions I follow, after paying hundreds on shipping to get it repaired, it won't work. $10k plus interest of debt with them, 1.5 years without proper power. I even hired a local tech to look things over as phone support clearly wasn't cutting it. My setup should work. Perhaps the reason it's not is the same reason a room full of solar techs laughed at the name AIMS when it was brought up at a convention. I'd find it easier to laugh if I had power. There's a reason this business isn't BBB Accredited.
0 stars. My inverter stopped working - spoke with tech support who asked me to measure voltage at the terminals, which was 12+volts (what it should have been). The tech said "these are simple units" and told me to ship it to them for $85 to get serviced. They took over a week to open it - called and said that it was working and that I had to pay $115 to get it back. Terrible experience. Won't be purchasing anything else from AIMS ever again.
I'm very pleased with Andrew's super prompt reply to my new install questions. With so many possible batteries, it's amazing that he was able to figure out the right configuration for me.
I couldn't be more disappointed with Aims products or their service. For starters, I paid retail price from an authorized dealer. My inverter worked for almost two days. I called the dealer and they blew me off. Said I would have to contact the manufacturer. I had to pay expensive shipping to send it back to aims for warranty repairs. Then they mispackaged my inverter and it was damaged in return shipping. I had to send it back to them again. This time they returned it in proper packaging, but not everything was in working condition. The wired remote did not work. They suggested that I buy a new $200 remote. That didn't work. Then they told me I needed to buy a $250 replacement control board. That got lost in shipping now. Buyers beware! The 5000w harbor freight inverter in my shed is going 6 years strong. Should have just gotten another one of those.
Aimes is a great company, the real deal making real products that they stand behind. The service on those products are excellent! You can speak to a person right at the factory an not some call center person reading from a script. I was calling with a issue that came up while in central america, and the techs not only fielded my call expertly but got me up and running. Thanks again Aimes
After weeks of research on off grid rv power systems, the inverter/charger being the heart of any system, I found Aims Power to be one of the best reviewed and top manufacturers. Your product matched my price point, and met the technical specifications I was looking for. When a technical question arose, before the product was even delivered, your product support validated the third reason I chose Aims Power over your competitors. My questions were not answered by a sales team looking to upsell me, but rather by a member of your engineering team. Andrew answered my first question clearly, and when asked if Aims offered an inverter/charger that also incorporated a Solar Charge Controller, he also explained that looking to integrate another component of an off grid system into my inverter, which would seem attractive to a DIY'er, Aims Power had discontinued their product that incorporated a Solar Charge Controller because they found it could lead to a single point of failure. Though I had considered that fact myself, had he not mentioned that point, I might have purchased a competitors product, and knowing my luck, found myself unable to use the shore power, my generator, or even the power stored in my batteries, just because the Solar Charge Controller component of my inverter/charger failed. Thanks for the honest and detailed support Andrew.
Non-existent customer service. Emails go unanswered for weeks. And those are the emails asking for details of their products that are so poorly differentiated or explained on their own website, including numerous inaccuracies in the specs, etc. That's so I can actually spend money to buy one of their products! I can only imagine the support you'll get after buying their product- NONE, that is, seeing how they aren't even interested in you buying it in the first place. Poor, poor, poor- go with a different brand that at least pretends to care. Well, it's clear they still care about their reviews, they responded to this review in mere hours unlike their actual support. Ironically suggesting I email their tech support, which is exactly what I did and exactly what this review was all about, i.e. the very poor quality of their tech support.
9/1/21 I purchased an Aims Global LF Pure Sine Wave Inverter/AC charger 6 years ago because it was what I thought was a quality 12 VDC inverter/charger. It has functioned flawlessly until 2 months ago. Now Aims Corp informs me that parts are no longer available for my inverter/charger! I have to purchase a new inverter. I had 3 China inverters before the Aims and they lasted 2 to 3 years, I expect this from China products but I paid much less for the three inverters than I paid for Aims unit. I paid a premium price for an American product, Aims Corp, because I felt it was worth quality, how wrong I was! “Fool me once, shame on you… fool me twice, shame on me” I do not recommend anyone purchasing an Aims Corp product because they do no support their products. Very helpful engineering staff in customer support.
Cody listened to my needs better than anyone I've communicated with through customer service in years.

Apr 07,2022Jay Jones was able to walk me through the overload shut down to figure out why the inverter was not working. We had sent it back under warrantee and was hoping it was not fried as this is the second product purchased.
