I'm updating my previous review. My earlier dissatisfaction with a service request has been resolved by excellent service from tech support engineer Andrew Frey. Big thanks to Andrew for righting a wrong, and quickly diagnosing and repairing my inverter unit. My faith in AIMS Power has been fully restored.
Worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. Jay Jones in Tech Support has been trained to ensure that their inferior inverter generator products are never subject to being refunded. My generator had less than 200 hours and quit running after 30 minutes after I started it for it's monthly maintenance run. His canned claim was that it was exposed to water and it was my fault it stopped running. Before the month it stopped running, it took at least thirty minutes for it start running after cranking it and recharging the battery several times. Aims products are an inferior design and their customer serivice is worse. STAY AWAY!!!
I have a AIMS power 24 volt 3000 watt inverter/charger that I have been using since May 2020. Inverter stopped working on power saver mode (still works in regular mode). Also charger has stopped working totally. I realize this inverter is no longer under warranty, but I went to their website and wrote to them for advice or options available to me. No response at all. When I replace ths inverter, it will NOT be with another one from AIMS.
They will not stand behind their product. Inverter charger quit working they said my dip switches where in the wrong position. All my appliances worked before the issue happened. So no warranty. The manual says the only switch that needs to be specifc is the hertz sw4
Jay Jones provided absolutely invaluable technical advice to help my husband install an AIMS inverter. He was kind, polite, and very patient as he instructed via telephone walk through. He knew inverter was invaluable to our daughter’s business and he made the commitment to get the job done. He is an outstanding employee and soul!
Jay in technical is an absolute rock star and should be commended for his expertise and customer service and desire to help your customers get it right.

Aims support took good care of me when I waited to hook up my $2000 high tech inverter till the warranty was long expired. The inverter didn't work, I paid for shipping and it came back working correctly. That was in 2012 and today they gave me good advice on adding another solar panel. These guys are great!

Had a large order of inverters that was processed and shipped within a few day. They were palletized and shipped LTL. They sent tracking so I could follow the shipment. No issues! Thank you Chris.
Phoned support and Jay gave immediate feedback on a failure. He gave instructions on how to move forward and was willing to make sure we got the unit repaired as quickly as possible. Very impressed so far and I am glad we went with AIMS.
Customer service was quick and effective. Kudos for Jay Lee for the most excellent installation guidance for my new 600w 12V inverter charger.

Nov 11,2022I have had a 3000-watt inverter charger since 2014. the first several years, would lose control board approx. every 9 months. Tech support was great and took care of my every need. We discovered that the elect. panel at the cabin had the ground and neutral bonded, corrected this and has worked ever since. I had to contact Tech. yesterday and they all were again nothing but helpful
